BrewDog

Since 2007, BrewDog have been on a mission to make other people as passionate about great craft beer as they are. This independent beer brewery is bold and uncompromising, making beer which is packed with flavour and originality. If you’re all about pale ales, check out Planet Pale, or if stouts are more your thing, give Layer Cake a try. BrewDog offer plenty of alcohol-free beer options too. Punk AF is their alcohol-free IPA and Lost AF is their alcohol-free lager. Plus, there are plenty of other low and no-alcohol options, including grapefruit-infused IPAs and hazy IPAs.Another thing that makes BrewDog stand out is the fact they’re carbon negative, which means they actually reduce the amount of carbon in the atmosphere. All of their packaging is made from recycled materials and they also plant their own trees to offset their emissions (and then some).Once you’ve tried BrewDog, you won’t go back. Don’t forget to shop through us if you want to save money on your BrewDog orders in the form of cashback. It only takes a few minutes to sign up and you can start earning cashback on your online shopping straight away.

BrewDog: Passionate about great craft beer

BrewDog Logo

Looking for a beer that stands out from your usual Friday pint at the pub? If so, BrewDog’s extensive range of craft beers, which includes lagers, pale ales and stouts, might just be exactly what you need to add some extra excitement to your evenings.

BrewDog brew all their own beers without using any preservatives, chemicals or cheap substitutes. They’re known for their intriguing flavours, from ClockWork Tangerine to Elvis Juice, which has a grapefruit kick. For lager drinkers, there’s a range of different BrewDog Lost Lager infusions, including guava, banana, and lychee and lime.

For anyone with a particularly sweet tooth, check out the marshmallow and pineapple-flavoured Mallow Laser Quest or Velvet Cake: the pecan salted caramel stout. The majority of BrewDog beers are vegan-friendly, including some of their most popular beers like Punk IPA, Hazy Jane, Dead Pony Club, Lost Lager and Planet Pale.

BrewDog also often collaborate with companies like Tony's Chocolonely to make unusually flavoured beers. They also launched a collaborative beer with the I Am Whole mental health charity, called Sad AF. This marshmallow alcohol-free IPA is designed to raise awareness of Seasonal Affective Disorder and encourage drinkers to open up to each other about how they’re doing over a non-alcoholic pint.

BrewDog also distil their own spirits, with their LoneWolf gin, Seven Day vodka and 500 Cuts rum (and they even do a hard seltzer now too), all available in a range of exciting flavours. Some of the most tantalising flavour combinations we saw included cactus and lime, and cherry and dark chocolate.

How to choose your perfect beer

If you’re new to BrewDog, it might be a little daunting to look at the huge number of beers available to order from their online shop. However, the layout of the BrewDog website is incredibly helpful. On each beer’s product page, you’ll see a brew sheet explaining the main properties of that particular beer, such as the level of bitterness, hoppiness, and maltiness.

They also have an ingredients list which will let you know the strength of the alcohol, and whether it’s vegan or gluten-free. Some beers even have a colour scale to show you how light or dark the beer is. Opt for a timeless classic, such as BrewDog’s first-ever beer, Punk IPA, which is described as having caramel and tropical fruit notes thanks to the new world hops used. Or, why not try some other BrewDog Headliners, such as the smooth and juicy Hazy Jane?

You can order your chosen beer cans in boxes of six, 12, 24 or 48, or choose a variety mixed pack if you’re keen to try a bit of everything. If you love all types of beer, the Beer For All bundle is a smart choice, or, for an eye-opening beer-tasting experience, go wild with a Hazy Jane beer bundle, which includes their peach and guava infusions. If you’re still stuck, why not visit BrewDog.com and book yourself onto a beer-tasting experience at a Beer School near you to gain a full appreciation of what goes into making their beers taste amazing?

BrewDog Black Friday & Cyber Monday Deals and Sale

Here's what we found happened last year:

Last year’s BrewDog Black Friday sale, much like years gone by, featured different discounts on different days.

On Black Friday itself, there was 20% off festive gifts, with the BrewDog Santa Beer six-pack and glass bundle being reduced from £22.95 to £18.35. There was also the option to personalise your beer cans with the BrewDog Xmas personalised can bundle. This bundle also came with six cans and a BrewDog glass, and could be bought for £21.56 instead of £26.95.

Looking for a gift for Dad? The Dad IPA Gift Pack, which contains six Dad IPA cans and one glass, was also reduced from £22.95 to £18.36 last November.

Whether you’re buying as a gift for someone else or a festive treat for yourself, the 12 Beers of Christmas collection is always a hit. In the 2023 BrewDog Black Friday sale, this limited-edition 12-can bundle was available to buy for £14.40, instead of the usual price of £18.

On top of all these impressive discounts, BrewDog were offering 20% off bar gift cards, which can be used in their bars, hotels and pubs all across the UK. An easy gift for a beer-lover, especially if Dry January isn’t really their thing.

Make sure you sign up to TopCashback and shop via our site if you’re keen to stretch your beer budget this Black Friday. We’ll give you a portion of your spend back, just for shopping via our site, so why not join us today and see how much you can save?

BrewDog Features

Ditch the alcohol without losing the flavour

If you don’t drink alcohol or you’re trying to cut down, BrewDog still have plenty of options for you.

Just because you’re not drinking alcohol, this doesn’t mean you should settle for boring beverages. Thanks to BrewDog, going alcohol-free doesn’t mean you have to miss out on great-tasting beer altogether. BrewDog go significantly further than just releasing one or two alcohol-free options. They have four of their most popular flavours available without the alcohol, but by no means lacking in taste.

If you want a classic BrewDog IPA taste, Punk AF will probably be your first choice, or if you prefer the taste of lager, why not go for Lost AF? For a fruitier flavour, give Hazy AF or Elvis AF a go (we particularly love the grapefruit notes of Elvis Juice, so the alcohol-free version is a strong favourite). And if all of that wasn’t enough, BrewDog even have their own totally original alcohol-free hoppy ale: Nanny State.

Who said alcohol-free had to be boring? You’d be hard-pressed to tell the difference between some of the alcohol-free beers and the regular ones. If you can’t decide which beers to go for, the alcohol-free bundle is always an option. Products included in this alcohol-free mix pack include Punk AF, Lost AF, Elvis AF, Hazy AF.

The history and future of BrewDog

Co-founded by James Watt and Martin Dickie in 2007, BrewDog began life in Scotland, just north of Aberdeen.

The first-ever BrewDog brewery is the home of BrewDog Distilling Co., one of the world’s most technologically advanced breweries. It was made possible by the company’s dedicated supporters, known as Equity Punks, who have been funding BrewDog’s projects by buying shares in the business since 2009, in return for BrewDog discounts and more.

You can book a guided tour of the original brewhouse, as well as the LoneWolf Distillery and packaging factory on BrewDog.com. The HQ is also where their OverWorks Brewery is (where they make their sour beers) and the DogTap taproom can be found, where you can get social and enjoy a pint of BrewDog beer or cider with a sourdough pizza or some chicken wings. They now have breweries in Ohio, Brisbane and Berlin too, and the Ohio brewery even has its own hotel.

Forget carbon neutral… BrewDog are carbon negative

It’s one thing for a company to offset their carbon emissions by planting trees, but it’s another thing entirely to actually reduce the amount of carbon in the atmosphere.

Believe it or not, this is what BrewDog have been doing since 2020. They now take out two tonnes of carbon out of the atmosphere for every tonne of carbon they produce brewing and delivering their beers. This means they’re no longer just carbon neutral, they’re actually carbon negative. They also recently purchased a plot of land in the Scottish Highlands of over 9,000 acres to facilitate their reforestation ambitions.

This is all on top of the fact their aluminium cans, glass bottles, and even their key kegs are made from recycled materials. They also no longer use plastic to package their multipack cans, instead opting for cardboard. So, while you’re enjoying your BrewDog beers, you can revel in the fact you’re actually helping the environment. In fact, if you sign up to become a member of Planet BrewDog (BrewDog’s loyalty scheme), you’ll be able to see how many kilograms of carbon you’ve helped remove from the atmosphere too.
