I thought £70 cashback on a policy costing £68 seemed too good to be true, but the salesman on the phone assured me that I would receive it three months after taking out the policy. After three months I received an email from Policy Expert telling me that the cashback should be in my Topcashback account and that I should lodge a claim if it wasn't there. As there was no cashback in my account I lodged a claim, the claim was submitted to Policy Expert two months ago, but they haven't bothered to respond, looks like I won't be receiving any cashback from this merchant.

This merchant does not seem to like paying out the promised cashback. My advice to you is only purchase from them if they are the cheapest anyway. You probably won't get any money back from them. I waited 18 months and got nothing.

Had an insurance policy for a full year and it's taken them the full 12 months to decline the £70.50 they should have paid up. Told lies to Topcashback that the policy had been cancelled. Con merchants.

Awful company very expensive product but made worthwhile by the amount of cashback would never deal with them again and had to threaten to cancel to get the promised amount. Still got £15 in MandS vouchers to come but bet your life they wont happen!

Very very disappointed just waited ten months to find out I didn't meet there terms and conditions which one i don't know as they won't tell me . I've just read them all and I met them all so perhaps a explanation should be in order at least . Very dissasatisfied and will take my business elsewhere in future !

Been 11 months now in fact my policy runs out in 33 days . Still received no cash back have logged claim and am still being told to wait . Very unhappy .

I have waited a year, a whole year and still no cashback. Remember cashback is not guaranteed so only use this company if they are the cheapest BEFORE you take into account the cashback. Needless to say I did not renew with them.

Still waiting on cashback despite numerous nudges and messages to topcashback. This has been going on since October 2012. Make your own mind up about it. Not happy and probably going to go elsewhere for cashback if this is, as I expect reneged upon. Finding a LOT of the car insurers are trying to weasel out of paying up. We've got a few cars being insured and finding several are not playing the game!!! Is it really worth the trouble?

Can't really comment on the quality of the service or product, as I gave up trying to obtain my "quote in 3 minutes" after half an hour. I could not get past the occupation boxes as there was no drop down menu and every time I typed anything in the box I got an error message telling me to choose from the list! Shame, as my visit was registered, so if I go back to it now it won't count for cashback

Over 5 Months & no cashback, still tracking at zero. Raised a missing cashback claim over a month ago, but still nothing. Will not use this merchant again. May give another cashback site a try next time as they have cancelled their membership fee.

Took out cover 3 days ago(paid in full) and no sign of tracking,cashback was reason i chose policy expert,anyway i dont want to risk not getting cashback,so i cancelled and are being refunded for policy,also if you generate a quote on website be prepared for telephone hard sell to convince you to take out a policy!!

Cashback promised to get £61.50 still waiting! BE WARNED impossible to make a claim! Being a Chartered Electrical Engineer they told me it was my own fault even though I tested the washing machine & freezer and they failed so through no fault of my own they refused to pay out reported to the financial ombudsman!

i and bought my policy in January , cashback was only tracked in A ugust. now its December cant see any chance to be payed.i would not recomened that merchant and i will not use it again

Not happy with this. Bought a policy in June 2012 - tracked and should have received payment by end of Sept. Still not received cash and is now showing £0.00. This is a company I will not be using again and I found TCB not very helpful either. It seems like a con to me.

The Cashback amount seemed too good to be true; and it was! A very frustrating and ultimately, disappointing Cashback experience. I purchased my insurance in January, which tracked at 1p. In April it was declined and despite proving my purchase, 6 months later, my Cashback is not even acknowledged. Though, to be positive, I can claim the 1p. I can’t say if the policy is any good, as I haven’t needed to claim yet, but I certainly wouldn’t purchase a policy from this company, based on receiving the Cashback.

I entered all the required details and afterwards I was informed that there were no quotes available. I feel they were just after my details as I have used two other comparison sites earlier today and received many quotes. I feel totally let down by this site and will not be using it again.
