Used this Merchant twice and on both occasions have received NO cashback. Very poor! I will avoid in the future.

We would advise members to check over the terms and conditions of the cashback for each merchant as there can be important information there about cashback eligibility. Hey, I am sorry to hear your transaction has been declined. A transaction will only be declined if either the transaction wasn’t eligible for cashback for example if it was a renewal or if we were not related back as the last referrer of the transaction. Normally you can query these decisions via a Missing Cashback Claim and so this may be an option you consider if you believe this has been done incorrectly. Best wishes, TopCashback Support

Do not use. If you have every been a customer for any business they will use that as an excuse not to pay. I took out a new policy which should have paid, but because I had another policy three years earlier they said I was not a new customer, so declined. Rip off merchants regarding cashback

Hey, I can see your transaction has been declined and this would only have been done if either we could not be related back as the referrer of the transaction or if an eligible transaction didn’t take place (i.e a renewal took place). Hey, The referrer is decided on by the cookies on your device. If these show another website or referrer referred you to make the purchase they will be paid rather than us I am afraid. Hey, I am sorry to say if either the merchant or their network does not believe either that the transaction that took place wasn’t eligible or that we were not the last referrer we won’t be paid the cashback. We will always query this as much as we can via the claims but there some decisions that can’t be changed I am afraid. Hey, I can see your claim was declined. When lodging a claim it is important that you can provide as much information as possible and also the correct details as this will give the merchant the best chance of locating the transaction and seeing whether or not we should receive the cashback. Cashback is only declined by this merchant for a real reason such as it being a renewal purchase of if we could not be recognised as the last referrer of the transaction. Hey, I am sorry your transaction was declined. We can normally find a reason out if a member lodges a claim. This also gives us the chance to overturn the decision. I can assure you this merchant does pay cashback and will only decline cashback if either we can’t be related back to the transaction of if the transaction didn’t meet the cashback terms and conditions. Was asked for further details which were provided to TCB, then Policy Expert still declined this. 7 months on and looks like they are going to walk away from their commitment yet TCB still allow them to advertise big money cashback all over their site. Very disappointed.

Stay away from Policy Expert, they are fast to take you're money but slow to pay cash back. Took me 5 months to get it. The process through TCB and Policy Expert is very slow and both companies hold the money as long as they can before paying out. Not a good service will not use again.

Bought combined buildings and contents insurance via TCB only picked Policy Expert as they were offering £70 cashback after waiting for 12 weeks they declined it! Despite being a genuine policy bought via TCB - stay away from this company only offering cashback to get custom and then declining it!

Really unhappy with this company. Purchased insurance back in November. The transaction didn't track, so after a week I called them to make sure it's accredited to Topcashback, otherwise I would have cancelled within the cooling-off period. They assured me that it went through tcb and sometimes it takes a few weeks to track, but I will get my money. After 2 months I raised a claim and now it's been 7 months and it still hasn't tracked. It's a scam, I'm surprised tcb still have them on their site after all these negative reviews. Avoid at all cost!

This company should not be trusted - despite adhering to all the conditions and since taking out my policy I have proven to Topcashback and Policy Expert my policy details, the cashback has not been paid and has since been classified as declined. Topcashback should remove this company from their portfolio.

Did not track or pay out and it's been a year. They have just called asking me to renew my policy, told them I will never use them again as they cannot be trusted. AVOID.

I was told at the beginning of november2014 that I would receive ££50 in M&S vouchers for taking out the policy with them now in April I am still waiting! all I get is inept replies from them!

Complete con. Had to wait 11 months to get this resolved only to be told that it had been rejected as not tracked. Made all the more galling as for the weeks leading up to this finally being rejected I had the company constantly phoning and emailing me to stay with them for another 12 months!

Despite going through the claims process my cashback has finally been declined after nearly a year of chasing. This company OFFER to give you cashback if you take out a policy with them through topcashback. I did not ask or negotiate for it.... they simply offered it. So why on earth would I trust them again with my home insurance when they won't even honour a "claim" as straightforward as this? I will never buy from them again and will warn everyone I know to be very wary. They are abusing the whole concept of cashback.
