When I purchased my policy via Policy Expert, it was an Aviva one that was sent to me and I have been an Aviva customer in the past (3-4 year's ago maybe) so was suspecting that it could be a reason for it being declined but their reason for declining doesn't state this and if it was the case it should be in their terms and conditions. Another reason could be (as stated by Topcashback) that cookies should be cleared if visiting a comparison site. I occasionally check comparison sites but never buy through them & have kept no record of whether I visited one before I purchased this & even if Policy Expert was included in the results from the comparison, I wouldn't have opened those results up and gone directly to their site. Surely visiting one should not affect the tracking if it was definitely purchased through Topcashback. I don't understand how this can happen - sounds to me like it would be too much effort for Policy Expert to solve a query like this & they simply reject. I emailed Policy Expert 2-3 week's ago and received no response

To add to my latest review, I notice that since Sept 13 there has only been a few transactions not declined. That's a long time. With all the money they have saved paying people they can now offer £100 to new customers.

Cash back initially tracked at full amount, than went to £0.00 and had now moved yo declined process has taken 5 months disappointing as at the time website said payment was through TCB!

Can't comment on the merchant as I haven't had to make a claim, but it's seven months now since I took out the policy through topcashback and although it tracked almost immediately at zero points as was expected that's as far as it got. I just keep being asked to wait a bit longer. A very dissatisfied customer.

Update on my situation: The day after I told them I wouldn't be renewing (and told them to stop contacting me after 4 days of solid hounding) my claim was rejected - DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE - is=t's expensive and you'll be lucky to see your cashback.

Policy Expert declined my cashback after 100 days had elapsed so I could no longer make a claim for it. I can see no reason for this, as I am still using the product I purchased. Will not be renewing with them.

I took out home insurance with this company exactly a year ago and I am still no further forward to receiving my cash back from them. Would never use them in future!!

Did not pay out any cash back. Total con. Positive reviews are obviously company employees writing fake reviews - all so similar and on the same day! AVOID!

Thats now 2 Claims declined with this Company, total con stay well clear and nothing to do with cookies etc as all other purchases have gone through no problem. Dont know how Topcashback let them away with this false advertising. Disgrace

Have noticed you can still lodge a claim if over a 100 days if tracked and disappeared after 100 days. You need to send a support ticket asking them to override the system. I am going to try this.

Cashback tracked at zero, TCB said to wait 12 weeks and would convert to £60. Suddenly disappeared off my account and went to paid at 0.01. FURIOUS

Policy expert rang me before I had time to purchase policy online. I purchased buildings only insurance for a rental property and was assured cashback would still be £90. Also assured me cashback would be paid even though purchase was not completed online as they rang me before I had time to complete online purchase so completed by phone - I will report back later if cashback received

Did everything by the book. Tracked then went to zero and stayed there permanently. Eventually declined cashback for no reason. Appalling company. Will never use them again. Without the cashback offer they are more expensive. Feel conned.
