My claim is 'On Ice', what does this mean?

Claim put 'On Ice'? Here's what that means:

Sometimes, claims are placed ‘On Ice’ before we can submit them to the network. This can be for several reasons - here are the four most common:

1. You've lodged your claim before 7 days.
If you lodge your claim within a week of making your purchase. we will automatically put the claim ‘On Ice’, as the cashback may still track to your account.

2. The retailer has a validation period.
For things like financial or insurance products, you often need to keep the policy or contract for a set time before they’ll review your claim.

3. Travel, rental, or ticket bookings.
These retailers often wait until after your trip or event is over before reviewing cashback.

4. Holiday return periods.
During busy times, like Black Friday or Christmas, some retailers have longer return periods. Claims will normally need to wait until these are done.

We can't submit your claim before the 'On Ice' period is up, otherwise it would be automatically declined by the retailer and their network.

Your Claim will be automatically taken 'Off Ice' at the correct time and will then be submitted to the network with the next available batch.
