Second time I have had problems with receiving cashbook from Direct Line had to use customer services to help once may be a hiccup but twice is a problem will not use again.

Takes a long time to get cashback from all insurance companies. Got a few more weeks to wait yet even though I paid the premium in full.

Disgusting!! Eligable for £47.50 cash back after buying home insurance, this was immediately delined by Direct Line. Six months on, the claim has still been declined. Do not use direct line.

Generated a new quote as required to receive cashback. The new quote increase the premium by more than the cashback amount being offered. I was then unable to retrieve my cheaper quote generated without cashback. Cashback was paid as expected, but ultimately I paid more. Would go direct and without cashback next time

Made two home insurance purchases, months apart from Direct Line and each one you declined by unjustly declined after about three weeks after purchase. Not happy with the delaying tactics from Direct Line.

Updated review following earlier review of 18th Feb 2016. Purchase tracked properly but was declined. Lodged a claim. Took until mid June for cashback to appear in account then another couple of weeks to progress to Payable. Total of six months from purchase to payout. So, insurance product was good, cashback process rather less so.
