  Denby can boast 200 years of craftsmanship experience, which helps them create beautiful tableware, cookware and serveware in the heart of England.

  Their products are designed for living and are made to last. The Denby story began in 1809, when local entrepreneur William Bourne discovered the strength and quality of Derbyshire Clay and decided to set up a factory. Their designs have graced the inside of No 10 Downing Street and Concord, as well as homes throughout the world.

  They use hardy Derbyshire clay and have more than 200 secret glaze recipes, with every piece they make going through 20 pairs of hands. After moulding and shaping the clay, they fire it at 900 degrees then, once one of the unique glazes has been applied, it is glost fired at 1,200 degrees. Items are hand decorated and fired again, when required, before being carefully tested, inspected and given the Denby seal of approval.
