Cashback is Pending so I am not complaining about lack of Cashback at the moment, fingers crossed it should come through as long as they don't go bankrupt. The delivery was late, to be fair to BestBuy not their fault but their choice in courier "Yodel". I wrote to BestBuy 2 weeks ago via online website but they have not even bothered to reply yet. I guess it maybe due to the company announcing that they are closing down, Car Phone Warehouse is not prepaired to bank roll the failing company, I know I won't go back, and I guess if all other customers get the same poor level of service they quickly run out of fresh customers. Comet sold for £2 days ago, I wouldn't pay a penny for Best Buy, a decent brand in the US but the UK franchise is not worth a visit.

This co cashback is a scam. Ordered june '11 tracked in a day then 1st sept time for it to be payable they reject and it appears as '0' payable. This co like so many, are using topcashback to get us to order from them by offering good cash back with no intention of paying. Topcashback are aiding them to scam us by not fighting for our owed cashback. What a scam this process is now. I have a list of companies who have done this esp in 2011 and topcashback is doing nothing - "not me gov" - attitude. I'm sure they are getting their cut from these companies but none for us. What a joke on us. This info is missing from review of Best Buy

Well Best Buy send you lots of e-mails regarding the order, which i think is good in ways as it keeps you informed - plus the delivery was good as you could see all the different stages of dilivery. However, it seems with regards to cashback they are less on the ball. At first my transaction did not track at all, so I sent a claim to Top Cashback. (which i was expecting to do anyway after reading a few other comments) After a month/two months my cashback was added to my account, however it was not the full amount! Best Buy only give a cashback percentage based on the sale plrice BEFORE VAT! so i bought an iPod touch for around £170, but the qualifying balance for Cashback was only £140 (the price before VAT). This was something that Top Cashback failed to include in the terms and conditions, it might be however not Top Cashback's fault, but is instead Best Buy trying to short-change me and are being cheeky! I cannot be bothered to go through the hassle of submitting a claim, because Best Buy i think will simply not give over any more money. but oh well. Just be prepared to chase up on this cashback guys!

Brought my products in Jan still have not had my cashback payment. As for best buy one of the items was damaged and when i returned it i had to wait for a refund before i could order a replacement product i decided not to order a replacement product from them as i thought why couldnt they send out another item on recepit of the damaged one!

Be wary of this merchant, IMHO!!! I purchased a freezer which thankfully was a reasonable price, but made much more inviting by the 20% cashback offer, well after 5 months of chasing and the merchant saying that I didnt qualify for the cashback I am now £20 lighter!!! The £20 cashback would have made it a bargain - but otherwise it was just a good price, I dont understand how they say I didnt qualify for cashback when I purchased it through cashback and used no discount codes, Hey ho onwards and upwards, the sun is shining outside so all is good.

I HAVE NEVER LEFT NEGATIVE FEEDBACK FOR ANY RETAILER ON ANY FORUM,M SO PLEASE TAKE NOTE. PLEASE DO NOT USE FOR HOME DELIVERY Best Buy use DHL to deliver goods, who lied and said that they attempted delivery of item at 9.25pm at night, when my son was cleaning his rugby boots on the front doorstep at that time. They said they left a card but when I complained that there wasn't one, they then changed story to deliverer had run out of cards. Convenient eh? Best Buy have said that they believe DHL that they attempted delivery so have in effect called me a liar. Was told I would have to wait in the next day as well as they would deliver again by approximately 3pm-wasnt here so called again, told would definitely be with me by 5pm, was not so phoned again, was told before 9pm. Eventually arrived at 6.30 by a very surly individual who was rude to my daughter as I dared to keep him waiting for a few minutes as I was on the phone complaining to Best Buy.

Purchased a Tv at beginning of Dec (£600+), tracked straightaway,, was slighty concerned as to whether I see the large cashback due as a number of other peps gave negative reviews & nothing happened,,,,, however today, I can confirm that the status has now changed to 'confirmed' so hopefully I'll see the cashback at end of this month or next. Took a bit of time but no doubt it was due to xmas period,, Thx.

Actually bought two items in two different clicks but only tracked for one,lodge a complaint about it but still waiting,plus the one which tracked hvnt been confirmed yet after more than 2 months. lets see when they will release the money,and sort out the outstanding transaction.

Comment dated 8th Feb 2011: I purchased a microwave combi oven from this merchant on 6th Dec 2010. Delivery was within specified time and the product is good. Cashback of £48.21 tracked quickly but not yet showing as confirmed and therefore not paid. I note from other customers comments that the cashback payments are unreliable and my experience to date confirms this. Very disappointing unless the amount is recovered soon.

Very speedy delivery and excellent price. Cannot comment on their customer service as I had no need to ring them. Goods arrived on exactly the day they said they would. Cannot comment on Top Cashbacks involvement as cashback not yet "Payable" but it has tracked so far so good.

Ordered a new washing machine for my parents at the beginning of January. The delivery day kept being changed which was a pain (sometimes it just didn't turn up, other times they changed it with only a days notice). At one point they appologised and said they would not charge for delivery - but this was free anyway! It was eventually delivered about 2 weeks after placing the order. Otherwise, all fine although cashback has yet to go to confirmed status a month after purchase.

I placed my order just before Christmas with the weather at its worst. The item was not delivered at the time specified but the retailer very kindly chased up the courier for me and furnished me with the telephone number of said courier. I had been unable to find a number in any other way. I received my goods as soon as the weather permitted and they were in good order and as expected.

I bought an LCD T.V the purchase and delivery was very good, the tracking was very quick, confirmation took a couple of months but was payable straight after. Overall I had a good experience with this merchant and would use again :-)

Am hesitantly giving Best Buy a positive review...the cashback tracked the next day and the product has arrived in perfect condition....but am nervous that the cashback won't become payable after reading other comments. Will wait and see! Despite this, even without cashback the product (Bose) was the cheapest I could find online, albeit only by a couple of pounds. And free delivery, which is always a bonus!

No problem with purchase and delivery, however if you wish to return a product then I have neve had such a poor online experience - when I eventually was able to return a product they debited my bank account again rather than crediting!! I am still awaitinf refund - customer service is the worst I have ever experienced!
