	Torture to deal with, had to get TopCashBack to get money. Swinton didn't keep to their quote, gave a 3 month free life policy which took another 3 months to cancel and we are still waiting for the refund. Didn't keep to their quote, wouldn't recommend them.

	managed to get £75 cash back from swinton direct and got £40 cashback from topcashback - took approx 3 months to get both amounts

	The quality of a service provider is about much more than the cashback transaction. When I bought my motor insurance through Swinton, the cashback deal went through fine. However, I had the misfortune to need to make a report/claim of a minor incident - then the customer service was a complete nightmare. I was transferred to 5 people between the Swinton the brokers and my insurance company, all of whom asked for the same information (name, address, phone nos, email, car reg & make). Another person them rang me a few minutes later, seeking other information, and asked my to confirm who I was and my date of birth - and they rang me !! As long as I live, I will never use Swinton again

	Shocking service from Swinton, awful customer service - nuisance sales calls, I was on holiday for 2 weeks, due to their failure to set up direct debit - they cancelled my car insurance policy whilst i was away and had the cheek to charge £144 to my debit card for the privilege - steer well clear. On the plus side, great cash back service from TCB, again which I cannot fault, at least that went some way to paying for their charges!

	Avoid Swinton like the plague - because that is what they will do to you: plague you with phone calls!!

	Don't use Swinton, their website comes up with an Error code on the final payment screen so you have to ring and place the order over the phone. This has happened with several different policies I tried to begin, motorbike and car. So you lose the Topcashback reward, thus defeating the whole point. Plus it creates a great deal of frustration!!

	Bought Insurance in Nov 2011 still waiting for cash back after endless nudges. Not impressed. Plus have received nearly 30 calls from swinton in less than a month trying to get us to have other insurance. Sometimes like today we have had 3 calls! Not impressed wouldn't use them again. Although I have to say I have used them in the past and they have been OK

	Definitely DO NOT trust swinton with their cashback. They sent me a claim form which i subsequently claimed only to be told 3 months later that there was no such claim and quite rudely that i wasnt going to get a penny off them.

	Don't trust Swinton!!!! I never had a problem getting cash back it always went like clockwork until I tried Swinton it is now almost a year and nothing. I will never use them again and if you take my advice neither should you.

	Changed to swinton car insurance 17th May and there has been no sign of the £40 cash back since. Would certainly not use again.

	Very competitive quote to start with. £40 cashback paid in just 2 months after. Great service thanks to high street branch just down the road. No annoying telesales calls whatsoever. Highly recommended.

	Hi... An important point: they don't tell you till the final page of quote that if you use a credit card they'll surcharge you 2.5%. With debit card, zero. How nice of them, eh? On principle, I never do business with any firm who surcharges and I strongly suggest others do the same. It's a rip-off and, depending on your final quote price, could significantly eat into any 'cashback' you may receive. They want the customer to have ease of payment via credit card but then want to 'penalise'. Equally, in the guise of giving you 'choice', the debit card: only then they'll have their payment in three days. In short, they want YOU to pay their bill to Visa/Mastercard or to pay them promplty via Debit card. Then they have the cheek (as per other reviews) to delay or not pay at all any cashback. Give these creeps a miss!

	I just received my £40 cheque from Swinton, after exactly 3 months, as per terms and conditions. This is in addition to the £40 cashback from TCB. Their local office does tend to phone every now and again, trying to sell me something else - which is annoying. But I can live with that, considering the money saved.

	Policy taken out end of July, no cashback tracked despite lodging with Topcash and sending 5 nudges, bad experience with Swinton, wld deffinitely not use again.
