What is SmartShop?

SmartShop is a new AI-powered shopping assistant, built with a view to help you shop smarter, save money and earn cashback more easily.

Instead of searching through lots of retailers yourself, simply tell SmartShop what you're looking for and it will help you discover products and cashback deals that match your needs. You can ask for something specific, set a budget, describe the features that matter to you, or even ask for ideas if you're not quite sure what you want.

SmartShop will search for suitable products, help you compare them, and show you the cashback offers available for the products it's found. It even estimates the effective price after cashback too!

Remember, this is an early experiment, so SmartShop is still learning. By giving it a try and sharing your feedback, you'll help us understand how useful an AI shopping assistant could be for TopCashback members.

SmartShop FAQ

How do I use SmartShop?

Just tell SmartShop what you're looking for in your own words. For example, you could ask "Can you find me a waterproof hiking jacket for under £100?" or "What's a good coffee machine for a small kitchen?". You can then ask follow-up questions to narrow down the results.

Where does SmartShop get its recommendations from?

SmartShop uses AI to understand what you're looking for and find products that could match your requirements. As this is an experimental service, its suggestions won't always be perfect, so we'd still recommend checking the product details and price with the retailer before buying.

Can I earn cashback on products I find using SmartShop?

Where a retailer is available through TopCashback, SmartShop can help you find opportunities to earn cashback and it will also help you estimate just how much cashback you could earn. As always, make sure you check the exact cashback rates and terms before completing your purchase.

Why is SmartShop in Labs?

Labs is where we test new ideas with our members before deciding what to do with them next. SmartShop is still at an early stage, and your feedback will help us understand what works, what could be better and whether it's something you'd like to see more of in the future.
