The promised cash back for the cover I took out was £20 - I got £5 in spite of TCB’s attempts to get the full amount for me. Disappointing and misleading

£150 contract taken out 29/12/16, with £50 cashback due. Never tracked, claim chased through TCB and, 3 months later, no response from Homeserve. TCB are investigating but I'm not hopeful. Buyer beware!

Unhappy! took out a policy in 2016, have been chasing the cashback since. They have decided NOT TO PAY OUT as they say I cancelled the policy.I did not cancel, I paid a whole years worth, they just don;t seem able to check this out correctly after 18 months trying. VERY DISAPPOINTED, WILL NOT USE AGAIN.

Cash back never tracked and top cashback were able to raise the issue. Homeserve initially were going to pay out for the cashback but then declined it.

£50 cashback due, not even tracking yet 16 weeks after purchase. Claim lodged. TCB waiting for response from merchant. Don't mind waiting 30 weeks for payment but lack of tracking doesn't fill me with confidence!

Click tracked, Purchase didn't. Homeserve didn't send email with code. Homeserve booked time for boiler health check and then cancelled 4 days before appointment (3 days outside full refund cancellation of service date). Friendly customer counts for nothing if the service you pay for cant be relied on for an elderly person.

The transaction seemed to track well but it seems they never respond. Takes an awful long time to get any response and by the time they do, you could be on your second year, leading to the first cashback never being paid. Avoid!

Con Merchants! They have 2 "Homeserve 8" packages which are identicle in features and price yet one of them includes a Free Boiler Service. After taking out the policy I called them a number of times to arrange my boiler service but was told each time that "we don't do our boiler services until the winter months" so when I called them in November they then told me that my package didn't include the free boiler service! To cut a long story short it wasn't until I threatened to complain to the regulators that they agreed to come and do it. After searching on the internet it would appear that they do this to just about everybody, trying to tell you that you chose the option without the boiler service. Why they even offer 2 identicle packages at the same price with 1 including the service and the otherone without is beyond me but why they would think customers would choose the package without the boiler service when they are the same price is even further beyond me! Be very careful!! Oh they take around 4 months to payout btw.

Yet another merchant that does not pay, and tcb does nothing about it. I have now cancelled my policy and gone back to British Gas.

having purchased a policy from Homeserve I did not receive any cash back despite submitting evidence etc. I would not purchase from this merchant again or recommend them

Sadly, like for many other people, Homeserve has not paid the expected cashback (9 month later we are still waiting). Very disappointing. I note that TCB has now changed the website to state that cashback is only payable on products listed BUT this was not the rule at the time of my (or many others) purchase.

It was track striaght away and decline after 6 months. so isn't accepting any claims for transactions older than 6 months and cannot cancel agreement after 6 months

Merchant seems fine actually, but TCB are so far useless. I signed up 30th Nov to Homeserve via TCB and today is 28th Feb and still waiting for Cashback. Has been waiting mostly for TCB to update referral info with correct references etc but now been 3 weeks since 6th Feb waiting for TCB to even "submit" to Homeserve for approval.
