The average payout time is allegedly 12 weeks, but it is now 20 weeks and I still haven't had a payment.

After extensive research I had already decided on Direct Line a the cheapest like for like policy and saved their quote. I was then pleased to see this cashback offer as an added bonus. Alas the small print states you cannot use saved quotes. Well I'm not going to risk a higher premium by generating a new quote and seeing from other reviews the ridiculous time scale before anything gets paid, it's not worth the hassle. Shame as I hadn't used Topcashback for a good while but doubt I'll be using them again if you have to jump through hoops like this.

Submitted for cash back in september and was saying 26 weeks now has jumped to 34 weeks. At this rate my policy will be up for renewal before my cash back is done.

Spent a lot of money on car insurance in April and still waiting for this cashback. It's been confirmed but will it ever be paid? DL are competitive but I had to purchase their home insurance on the phone as the system was unwieldy so no cashback on that one. I don't base my purchases on cashback but obviously it is a bonus (when it actually turns up ) for all that blooming effort tracking down the right price!

I purchased the car insurance in March but even though it tracked and I've jumped through the hoops to verify the purchase they still haven't paid. Currently lodged a ticket with Topcashback but looking at the other comments don't hold out much hope. From the other comments it would appear Direct Line are abusing the system to drag people in. Fortunately Direct Line were the most competitive quote for me.

My renewal quote with Direct Line was for £20 less than the quote I got online - but with the £50 cash back, that would mean a £30 saving. The quote didn't track so I had to put a claim in. Disappointed to find out it's 3 months on ice before it gets submitted. I wonder if it will ever get paid. I bought Direct Line's Green Flag breakdown cover via TCB and it's been 8 months and still nothing.

Cashback tracked ok but had to cancel insurance policy. Please be aware that if your car has factory fitted options they are treated as modification and you CANNOT purchase online, you have to call. Not at all clear what they count as standard specification and no where to add the factory options they count as modifications. My £225 factory fit spoiler on KA pushed excess up £200 so I cancelled.

I'm sure the merchant themselves are fine, I've never had to claim with them but I've had life insurance with them from 7th November 2018 and I still haven't recieved the cashback for it. Can't believe how long its taking.

Didn't pay the cash back and Topcashback "unable to look into unpaid cash back for this retailer" . Consider this when you buy that you can't count on the cash back. Good Luck!

Did everything correctly and my life insurance purchased tracked and said I was due £75. 3 months later I checked to see of it was payable and it said cashback declined. Only went with direct line for the cashback. It now says that topcashback cannot look into missing cashback claims for this retailer.

Website does not work to add discounts for multiple car households. You have to phone up and complete on the phone so you dont get cashback!

Cashback was not received fro some time, and forthcoming so had to submit a claim and follow-up with several reminders. The cashback was eventually paid but more than 12 months after purchase.
