When it comes to getting your money, one customer states they have “never known cashback to be processed so quickly” - and they were not the only one to comment on how quickly they received their cashback. People who had to put in a claim due to the fact their cashback did not track were also pleased with how swiftly the issue was resolved.

British Gas, as a company, have a two-star rating on Trustpilot, though you will find many positive reviews commenting on their professional and polite engineers, the efficient service provided and their seamless end-to-end process when arranging an annual service. British Gas are also commended on the fact they provided great advice and updates regarding when the engineer would arrive for an appointment.

Be Wary. Purchase made 5 Jul 15, constantly chasing TCB eventually showed as confirmed end Oct 15 but no progress since and now 4 months since purchase.

In the interests of fairness, I just wanted to add that further to my overwhelmingly negative review the other day, my persistence has paid off and TCB have finally resolved my claim, resulting in the full £50.50 cashback arriving today. I was originally offered £25.00 following my first claim, which I pointed out was the incorrect amount. I subsequently received a message offering me £25.00, which I interpreted as the original offer being repeated to me. In actual fact, it was an ambiguous message, which turned out to be an offer of an additional £25.00 on top of that already offered. TCB corrected the second offer to £25.50, which finally resulted in the correct overall cashback amount and explained that they had received the cashback in two separate installments, hence the two separate offers. Not had such trouble with other cashback offers, but nevertheless, I'm very grateful to TCB for sorting things out.

Make sure you do a comparison quote elsewhere, Quotes through this site were 40% more than through a comparison site for the same cover

Top Cash Back quotes are higher than if you go direct and the might not pay up. I advise you compare your 2 quotes.

Don't bother carrying purchases here both retailor and topcashback delay your missing cash back claims on purpose so they don't have to pay you out.
