Best beaches

The UK may be surrounded by beaches, but none quite like those found in The Palm Beaches. With 47 miles of coastline, each beach appears to have its own personality. They have hidden, natural beaches which will make you feel like Leonardo DiCaprio in The Beach, surfer beaches, beaches with shallow lagoons perfect for kids and families as well as beaches where endangered sea turtles which can be seen via a guided eco-tour. Juno Beach Park – Juno Beach, FL

Check their Juno Beach pier where you can enjoy 990 feet of saltwater fishing as well as panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. With excellent waves it’s also a hot spot for suffers and kiteboarders as well as swimmers. The best thing about Juno Beach is from May until October it’s the densest sea turtle nesting ground in the world.  After a day of swimming, fishing and turtle spotting, grab a snack at the food stands or even prepare your own dinner on the park’s barbecue grills.

Coral Cove Park – Tequesta, FL

Coral Cover Park is best known for is snorkelling conditions, a waterproof camera is a must as you snorkel past an array of sea turtles, eels, fish, and sharks all swimming in and out of the reefs and rocks along the cover.  Located close to the Intracoastal Waterway giving you additional areas to explore in and out of the water.

Peanut Island Park – Riviera Beach, FL

Peanut Island Park is perfect for families all you have to do is take a water taxi from the nearby Sailfish Marina or Riviera Beach Marina to experience a great place for snorkelling and swimming. Plus, with an overnight camping area you can make the most of the beach under the stars. If you’re a history lover, don’t forget to take a tour of the John F. Kennedy Bunker, a historical reminder of the Cold War of the '60s.
