Will I get cashback for the purchase since my card was already activated (i understand so from Phils reply below) Also is cashback still available for all purchases as long as offer has been activated?
I understand that there was a limit to the amount of activations but once activated we should be able to shop until the offer ends

tony_w21 April 2021, 08:59 This is frankly an appalling way to treat members. Firstly you expect members to read all the fine print then get out their crystal balls to check on the day of shopping that the activated offer hasn't been removed from your account without warning, then put 2+2 together and realise 'oh that must mean that the offer has ended early' !!! Why didn't TCB as a curtesy send all members who had activated the offer an email confirming the offer has ended early? Is that too much to ask? I was attracted to link a visa card to my TCB account through this offer. I linked/Activated the offer on the 15th and shopped on the 18th both well within the 14-25th offer period. I wouldn't care I had to use a visa card for the offer and lost the guaranteed cashback that I would have earned on my Amex. A real poor show TCB. Treat your members with respect and communicate with them in future please.

Bernadette28320 April 2021, 22:42 I think it’S disappointing that this offer finished so quickly. It started on 14 April and it appears was ‘Paused’ 19 April ( from Phils comment below) when in fact it was due to finish on 25th April. I shopped at Tesco this morning (20th), I have my receipt and actually expect to receive cash back on the basis that apart from this blog I couldn’T find information as to whether this offer still live or not. Bad form given that many others will have shopped at Tesco with a registered card not realising that this offer had finished!

Lengthy process through customer support who initially told me I had registered too late and the offer had expired which was not the case. Took moths to sort out and was eventually granted a 'gesture of goodwill.'
I really hope the problems have been resolved this time around.
