Like others on TCB, I'm wondering why Bed Star continue to be listed as paying cashback.
Ordered bed, etc from Bed Star early July 2010. Whole transaction completed via their website, which was accessed via TCB. Total value of transaction was £510.00, so should have been eligible for £51.00 cashback.
Cashback (of £51.00) tracked without problem, and from what I remember, reasonably quickly. Then in early August '10, the cashback was set to £0.00.
Manual claim raised with TCB, and regular nudges sent. After another recent message to TCB, I finally received a response yesterday from TCB that Bed Star are steadfast in refusing all submissions regarding my missing commission, stating that "enquiry unsuccessful - Transaction not fully completed online". I don't understand this explanation - especially as the transaction initially tracked.
So another customer who has not received the cashback they were expecting from Bed Star. Other users of TCB should be aware!
No gripe with the guys at TCB who I'm sure have done their best over almost 1 year to get my cash. However, I do think they should have a serious look at this retailer, consider how many claims are being rejected, and whether they should really be listed on TCB.
Oh, by the way, no problem with the actual service, quality of bed, etc., from Bed Star. Just a shame they don't honour the cashback that is advertised.
