Merchant wasn't prompt on arrival. Waited over half hour for merchant to arrive. However vehicle was in top condition, and ran perfectly. Merchant was quick on arrival on return. Therefore 4/5 star rating for them. Very good competitive price, cheaper than many. Would use again. Many thanks.

Didn't track and turned down claim after waiting months , disappointing as they were competitively priced , will use a different car hire provider next time .

After booking and paying a deposit their site didn't issue an email receipt. Their customer service guy weirdly said it would be impossible to get a receipt. Anyhow 7 days before the trip they took the rest of the payment and issued a car hire voucher with Hertz. The Hertz service and car were super. On my return ArgusCarHire sent an email inviting feedback but the feedback link was dead and they didn't reply to my email offering feedback. The cashback is not yet confirmed, more than a month after paying in full. ArgusCarHire had a good price but it's scary to deal with a site that doesn't issue receipts. If you use them don't buy the excess insurance from them or the car hire company. It's much cheaper from a specialist car hire excess insurer listed on topcashback.

arrived shannon airport at 7pm to pick up car to be told desk closed and 50 euro charge to come and give me the car. car hire was dan dooley so avoid as all other desks open as you would expect at this time argus car hire customer service are appalling payout finally made 66wks after purchase

No compaints as to the car rental as we were in the usa and the car had been booked through one of the national car rental companies,but as far to cashback i would be suprised if this will be paid as nobody on these reviews have been paid.Topcashback should have words with them.

It took 4 days to get the email response from customer service. Becasue their reservation system was slow, I was taken 20pounds pentalty due to cancel within 7days and 10mins. I called them three times and I have to wait for their call back to discuss this issue.

Argus car does not pay up. The first claim even though everything was done correctly they dismissed the claim. The second claim took over 3 years to pay out after numerous complaints to top cash back.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK from this company. They put the customer in trouble. once money is paid, they take no responsibilities at all. They don’t really care whether or not you get car or you die. I booked the car 5 weeks before my travel for 1 week in WROCLAW airport and when I arrived they denied to give me car saying, they wont give since I had indian driving licence. It was in English and I got car in many countries in Europe before. I was in POLAND for 1st time with my kids and I needed to travel 130km to my hotel. I didn't know what to do so I enquired in next door car company at airport and they gave me the car without any issue, only thing is I had to pay 10 times. I faced so much trouble plus I paid 10 times for car renting even after booking 5 weeks before. I called them many times regarding the issue and they did nothing and didn’t even return my booking amount. They behaved like they owe no responsibilities. They are big time cheater. Their customer service is very very bad.

Have multiple claims outstanding (oldest >4 months) and merchant has never auto-tracked a transaction (~20 transactions). Avoid if relying on cashback from this merchart. Topcashback have been unable to help in the matter either and fail to provide clarity
