To get there, our mission is two-fold: to create products that empower people to live healthy lives regardless of their surroundings, and to be part of raising awareness about poor air quality and the climate crisis.

It all started when Alexander Hjertstrom experienced firsthand the side effects of air pollution while travelling abroad. On returning home to Sweden, he raised the issue with long-term friend Fredrik Kempe. Together, they set out to find a sustainable solution that safeguarded people from the harmful impact of air pollutants.

Combining progressive, science-led product development with Swedish design principles, they created a product that breathed stylish new life into the world of air masks. In 2015, Airinum was born with the mission of providing people with everyday accessories that reduce the health effects of climate change.

Today, Airinum supports healthier living for people all over the world. We provide knowledge and products that empower people to take charge of their health while at the same time actively contributing to a better future.
