Refuses to pay Cashback
I decided to switch car insurers using Uswitch on 24/10/22, as they were offering £40 cashback through Topcashback.co.uk
Topcashback asked me for the "order number" for my car insurance. Uswitch do not provide an order number. The only reference number I have is my policy number for my new policy with Churchill, opened through Uswitch.
Topcashback have now declined my claim, saying the following:-
"We have now received an update on your claim and I am sorry to say that this has been declined by the retailer's network agency as they are unable to locate your purchase using the reference you have provided as your main order reference.
This is because the retailer's network agency uses the order reference to locate the purchase and assess if it is eligible for cashback, so if they are unable to locate the purchase, then they will invariably decline the claim."
So I have provided the only reference number that exists, but Uswitch are refusing to pay out.
I could have received a smaller amount of cashback using a different site.
So beware of Uswitch. They may offer the biggest saving, but they renege on their promises.

Took approx 12 weeks over expected time to get money.
A good payout but very slow to receive and had to raise a ticket as it did not track to start with.

Declined Cashback for no reason.
Declined cashback stating their network agency couldn't trace the order. Liars, they can see from the account what the order was. Do they think we're stupid? FOS complaint incoming to uswitch who unlikely won't uphold but hope the £750 FOS investigation fee was worth declining my small amount of cashback.
