It’s fair to say feedback left by TopCashback members who have shopped with O2 through us is mixed. However, having said that, you will be able to read many positive O2 reviews below. There are plenty of people who have clearly been pleased with how quickly they received their cashback, with one saying: “Cashback payable to my account was bang on time — brilliant service.”

Others clearly share those sentiments, with similar comments including “tracked and paid within a month”, “really easy transaction and decent cashback rate” and “tracked quickly and paid out fast”. Our members have also praised O2 for the service they provide, with comments including “super quick and efficient service” and “brilliant — very helpful customer service”. The O2 review feedback on Trustpilot is also mixed, but there are some fantastic reviews.

One stated: “Absolutely brilliant company. The My O2 app is so easy to check your upcoming bill and offers.” Another happy customer said: “I think O2 is brilliant. i bought 2 sim only deals 5 days apart the first at end of june the 2nd at beginning of july, the first tracked at lower amount (£25) then raised to cashback amount and paid out fine (£50) the second tracked at lower amount as before but didn't raise to expected amount - i submitted missing cashback claim and about a week or two later received an email saying i had received the missing cash which was payable the next day. overall i'm happy !

The customer service was good - their computer system would not allow me to print invoices so had to ask them each month to post the invoices. Other than that, I have been happy with O2 so far.

Had a problem with my cashback not automatically uplifting so had to submit an enquiry (my first one). Top Cashback resolved the issue quickly with the minimum number of emails back from the staff. I was however kept fully informed by Top Cashback staff and was paid the missing amount a lot quicker than I imagined. Superb user support as far as I am concerned.

got my £100 cashback from june 2010 after many nudges to topcashback, but it does look like it's o2 thats draging their heels over this. waited until money in bank account before i got the flags out!!!!. If you do go for one of o2 cashback plans then they will be a good deal if you can wait for the money. afterall its a bonus! HAPPY DAYS

No problem with the product but have had to log a claim for cashback. Three months on and it's now showing as pending but I'm not convinced O2 will pay up.

Really very disappointed folks! The cashback initially failed to track - and although it now has been tracked, the payment has been pending for 2 weeks as of today's date! (17.11.10) So no cash received at all to date! Pretty poor isn't it? I ordered the sim way back in August! There's no problem with the product - although it did take a week to get it, by which time, O2 had taken my first months payment!!! Suppose it depends whether you prefer to use O2 over another provider really.

I purchased my product in August and I am still waiting to recieve my cash back in November. I have had to report on the progress of this cash back other than it is pending confirmation from the retailer.

Generous amounts but have had to chase for 3 months for this to even track, let alone become payable. Service and product good but do not make your purchase decision if you need cash back to make it a best buy. Just think of it as a nice extra if it should turn up. I wait patiently but am not holding my breath......

It took a long time and a drawn out manual enquiry, but I did eventually get all £100 of the cashback that was promised for my £15/month contract taken out back in July. Don't lose heart - sometimes these things just take a long while (and in fairness to O2, they really will want to make sure you're honouring your monthly payments before they give you any cashback).

Unreliable, promised amount of cashback was 100 pounds but actually tracked at 25 pounds. Used vodafone last year and they paid the full amount of over 100 pounds. Would use vodafone again but not O2 for cashback.
