Cashback was pending within an hour of arranging insurance. I've noticed other comments re cashback, so I'll be interested to see how well and quick they pay. On a positive note, after scouting the web for van quotes for my husband, I have just organised his insurance via Hastings for £600 cheaper than his renewal premium with another company.

The cashback registered for 3 months and then was declined when it became payable I'm still chasing it more than 6 months after buying. Wont be using them again

Useless, I absolutely clicked through from topcashback to buy this insurance, it didn't track so i opened a claim, and the final answer is that hastings are denying that the last click through to them was from topcashback, so they won't honour the claim. Bloody liars, I know damn well I clicked through from TCB

Hey, It is not the merchant who decides the last referrer it is the cashback network. They decide this only based on the cookies on your device. If you don’t purchase straight away or don’t clear cookies and cache before logging in there is a chance another cookie will be credited with the cashback. Best wishes, TopCashback Support

Further to my previous comment, my husband has had to make a claim for an accident this weekend. They are absolutely awful to contact. It took half an hour to get through to the correct department (he was being passed around from one dept to another). They will not help out with a courtesy van - they have offered a car that is totally inadequate and the excess considerably more than what we understood (lesson learned from not reading the small print sufficiently). On the whole, totally unhelpful and we'll be looking elsewhere next year for van insurance. Sadly it's not just about a cheaper policy. Its how good they are when you come to make a claim. Avoid.
