my mate very ill stupidly got into car in drive of house to straighten up car(dont ask why)drove accidentally like a rocket and demolished his garage and wrote off 8000 pound car.Hastings paid up without quibble to rebuild garage.Car not insured.

As always you get what you pay fore.
I took out car insurance in September 2010,
Good cash back tracked quickly and paid on time.
I was involved in a not at fault accident, the other party agreed to give me a courtesy car, Hastings wanted a large sum of money to put the registration on my policy and remove it when my car was repaired. (A slightly more expensive policy would have not incurred that charge) also I was plagued with a solicitor wanting to make money from the third party.

Cashback tracked and has been declined - i have no idea why as the policy is still running, dont bother if the cashback is the deal clincher as you may not get it. Was a premium rate 0844 number to ring them, now changed to 0800 so make sure you use the right one if you need to get in touch.
