“Super impressed with (the) speed of cashback becoming payable — other merchants could learn from these guys” is how one of our members described her experience with Buymobiles.net in a review they decided to leave. Other members have also clearly been pleased with the service provided by the mobile phone retailer, with comments left including “got a great deal on my new iPhone and quick cashback also” and “great service at great prices — and cashback paid on time”.

While it is true that some members have complained about their cashback being denied, having to put in a claim or having to wait a while for their cashback, plenty of others have been pleased with the process. Some of the comments left with regard to this include “Quick payout, always no issues”, “paid within two months — great” and “quick and easy — cashback confirmed quickly”.

Do NOT buy from BuyMobiles.net they declined my cashback for no reason,, its rip off, i singed for 12 month 3 sim only and they confrimed £27.50 cashback but now declined,, this is rip off, i never buy again from them

Absoutley rubbish, cashback tracked correctly to start off with now has been declined. I am not very happy about this. I will not be using them again. I wish I could send the phone back and cancel the contract

Purchased 'Sim Only 12 Month Contract (Available on EE & Three)' (12 month three contract). Cashback declined and the only feed back given was 'not met terms and conditions'. What terms and conditions? Beware and don't rely on cashback - oh, well won't buy from them again!

Dreadful - DO NOT USE - They will not pay even on a new contract, I took out 3 new contracts and this didnt "Meet the criteria" apparently. Only giving 1 star as ZERO is not possible

Took 3 new contracts, each an individual click through TopCashBack, tracked quickly. All 3 cashbacks DENIED... Have raised issue with TCB and is still pending. Be wary!

Please be very careful to read all the terms and conditions with this cash back, my £52.50 for our upgrade was declined by this company, filed a claim and it was declined again, very dissapointed, will never use again !!

I'm actually really disappointed by this supplier as they failed to honour the transaction. How can I not meet the claim when I clicked through and completed it online. They added an extra security step which delayed the order by a day but didn't contact me and then approved the order. I feel somewhat cheated by this.

Terrible merchant, born out by reviews from others. I upgraded through them in Dec 14 and had cashback pending so thought I'd use them again when upgradeing my sons contract in January. Both went into pending at that time but then were both declined. I got a 3 word response when querying the claim saying "not met conditions". All in all I'd advise avoiding them and upgrading elsewhere. I would have given 0 stars if I could of done..!!!

Purchased a contract with buy mobiles in January 2015 and expected £40 cash back. This is the reason I went with them as I had alternative options with either free gifts or slightly lower cash back. However, my cash back has now been declined by buy mobiles even though my contract has now been initiated and I have started paying the monthly fee of £33. This also happened to my husband who used topcashback on my recommendation, also taking out this deal and expecting £40 cash back which has been declined.

Had an upgrade for Samsung S5 in August 2014 through cashback. Happy with the mobile & contract however my cashback claim of £47.25 was declined almost immediatley. I logged a claim for this & it was declined again even though i followed the procedure to get the cashback. The only reason i went with this company is due to being able to have the cashback as it seemed a fab offer. Obviously too good to be true!! I would suggest anyone making a purchase through cashback with this company does not bank on getting the cashback. It does seem to be a gimmik to get people to use the company & i am furious that i havent been paid out.

Purchased 2 contract phones in around 3 months. Both tracked straight away but after around 6-7 weeks cashback declined. Just waiting on Topcashback to chase up these items.

Avoid. Dishonest company, makes life difficult. They have ridiculous criteria for their cashback claiming. Claiming on arbitrary time windows of 60 days, posting it in, using special bits of paper which they won't resend you if you lose it. And then if you don't send it in with extra tracking, it'll find it's way into a bin, along with the "irreplaceable" codes. Seems blatant they have incentives for their staff to dodge cashback claims. Thoroughly dishonest company. And, they have their employees writing reviews, and not stating they are affiliated, so watch out for fake 5 star reviews! Which breaches advertising regulations. So seems they don't mind flaunting the law. I'd bet a lot of their small print terms wouldn't stand up in a court too.

Bought two Samsung Galaxy S5 phones and they rejected my cashback claim. I provided the order and tracking numbers but no one wants to help me get my £84 cashback. If I'd known Buymobiles.net were a bunch of dishonest cowboys, I would have avoided them and got the phones and cashback from a more reputable seller.

DO NOT USE. First off, they opened a second plan instead of upgrading my original account as requested meaning that I was paying for 2 accounts for a fortnight until I could get my original number back (which involved buying a 3rd SIM card as cannot transfer a number between 2 accounts on the same network ...you learn something new every day). Second, EE are charging me £5 a month more than the plan I signed up to with Buy Mobiles but cannot change it as they were instructed by Buy Mobiles. AND thirdly,my cashback has been declined even though I KNOW that I only went through Topcashback (I have been doing this a while). The Customer Service is terrible and they make you wait on hold on an expensive number for ages. Cut all ties Topcashback. Total cowboys. Really regretting my decision to buy with Buymobiles. NEVER AGAIN

Have to wait over a week for email reply and they never answer the phones unless you are placing an order. Refused cashback claim. Would avoid in the future.

Having previously used this company via Topcashback and received excellent service I had no qualms about using them again. However after having £42 cashback showing on my account it has now been declined. Why? simply because I was not a new customer. I would have thought that companies such as this would have welcomed repeat business. It seems not. Unfortunately I am outwith the period to return the phone and free gift or otherwise I would have. I shall not shop with this company again. Topcashback have also lost a customer as I shall now look elsewhere for a company that meets my needs. I shall be waiting until all of my cash is ready for payback and that will be the end of me.

I used this company in 2008 and all went well, my order tracked and paid quicly then, but I am very disappointed that my claim for an order received nearly a month ago has not tracked. I have put in a claim with tcb and will update users on any progress. I also tried to ring them regarding the voucher redemption scheme but no one ever picks up. This company is not what it used to be.

TOPCASHBACK RESPONSE. We have had a response from this merchants network regarding your claim. Unfortunately your claim has been declined on this occasion. The merchants network has stated that this has been declined for the reason "Another marketing channel was credited with sale" This states that TopCashback was not identified as the last referrer to the transaction. This is not to say that you used another cashback site but that another referrer such as a search engine, pop up window, voucher code or comparison website has become (possibly unintentionally) linked with your transaction. As I'm sure you will understand if a merchant (via their affiliate network) can't be sure of a transaction coming from TopCashback then they will not approve it and pass the cash onto us to pass on to you. MY RESPONSE That is a load of Rubbish. If they said i didn't use your site surely they would now which one was used. (and i would like to which) I went directly to their site from yours. I have used your site for a number of years and in my experience more companies are now coming up with excuses to deny payment. These sites are surely using your site to increase their sales with no intention of paying their cashback. I would have used a different mobile phone retailer if i knew this was how they were operating. Avoid like the plague.
