The fact they offer value policies seems to be a popular reason why our members decide to provide positive feedback having purchased home insurance from Aviva. One reviewer says they have used Aviva “many times for all insurance purchases”, while others state they have been happy with their “competitive home insurance”.

On the whole, members are also pleased with how quickly their cashback tracks and pays out, with comments including “paid out on time, tracked on time. Why can’t other merchants be like this?”, “this must be the easiest thing I have ever done - taken out home insurance and got cashback at the same time” and “just take out a policy and TopCashback do the rest”. Another of our members says their cashback was logged very quickly, confirmed and made available to them exactly when they said it would.

Aviva.co.uk has only a one-star rating on Trustpilot, though you will find many four and five-star reviews which lavish them with praise, with customers saying things like “I really like Aviva as they helped me all the way”, “quick, courteous and also the cheapest cover each time” and “every time I have dealt with Aviva they have done everything that the policy says they should do, with no issues”.

Their call centre staff are also praised for being knowledgeable and polite when resolving issues, while someone who says they have used Aviva for three years commends them on their great customer service. One customer highlights the fact that they reported the loss of a £4,000 ring at 9.30am and by 10am had received an email confirming the full amount, minus the £100 excess, was to be paid to replace it from the store it was purchased from.

Gone through the long process of trying to get a quote for home insurance three times only to be met by the phrase "sorry we are unable to quote at the moment, please call ....". I could call but obviously wouldn't get the cashback. Never had a claim on my insurance so can't understand why they don't want me as a customer.

I purchased car insurance on 19 May 2009 and despite several 'nudges' to contact the retailer, I am still waiting for the £70 to show on my account and the payment! Do not trust Aviva (previously Norwich Union) to pay out via this website - a very disgruntled customer!!!!!

Bought Building/Contents policy last night after tailoring the excess figure then opting for Paper Free policy. However Aviva system sent me 3 email quotes within minutes of each other(one for each stage of change even though I didn't save any and only followed through to Policy Purchase stage after selecting Paper Free policy). A 4th email then confirmed my policy purchase and advised that I will receive another with password to allow online enrolement to manage the policy online . This didn't arrive so called Aviva today and was told of system problems since yesterday. They then sent another specific enrolement email which didn't work either. Then Lunch time I received a Sales call trying to convert one of the quotes from last night into a purchae so I explained that I already bought the policy based on the tailored quote last night. The Sales person didn't know this and said the system had not flagged my purchase against the other initial quotes. Would you be surprised if after all this that I am a little concerned that ym £90 Cashback would not track by itself?

Pending within 30hrs, very fast. Nice and easy website. Not the cheapest without cashback, but the best value with cashback. £90.00 Free contents cover ???? You are paying for it via Building cover. Overall 100% happy!!

Unfortunately, Aviva were unavble to give me quote for buildings and contents insurance, but did not give a reason why. They passed me on to another company, stating they would transfer all my details but this didn't happen either. I gave up because the whole process was taking too long.

After going through the questions (taking the best part of an hour)The end result is - we need to speak to you,; so that you then leave this offer to speak to them on the phone.Meaning that you will not get the cash back from this offer. = waste of time

BE CAREFUL BEFORE BUYING FROM AVIVA THROUGH TOPCASHBACK ! I have just bought a home and contents insurance which only tracked at £70 although webpage said MASSIVE £90. Could have got £80 cashback from Quidco, so lost out on £10 !!

I've just wasted around 2hrs of my life trying to get a building and contents quote only to be disallowed at the very last second due to having made a past claim just within a five year period (4yrs+10months) Surely this waste of time could have been avoided by stating such an exclusion right at the start !! we're not all keyboard geniuses, and this is a real challenge for me ! The sooner we get back to talking to real people routinely, the better

Took out a policy on-line on Fri 17 July. Showing as Cashback Pending in my transactions the next day but with cashback of £70 rather than the advertised £90!? Query submitted to TopCashBack ... so hopefully this will be rectified.

The company aviva Norwich Union that pay billions on advertising a new name getting major film and tv personalities and yet feels its perfectly ok to sack loads of people in the process of reorganisation i'd say dont use them there morals are not in the right place they mess their staff around how do you think they treat the customers.
