Shocking delivery time and poor customer service/communication. Only ordered a DVD. All the benefits of ordering from the back of a comic in the 1970s.

I have used the hut quite a few times and always found them to be a good retailer until my most recent purchase. If you pay for next day delivery then you may or may not get it but if you don't then don't expect them to care much about it.

Pre-ordered a CD A day after the release date I was emailed to say they could not get stock and my order was cancelled. Not happy at all Will think twice about using them again

I wouldn't use The Hut again. I ordered an item they said was in stock. It was then said to be dispatched and they took my money. A couple of weeks later I get an email saying they've cancelled the order but don't worry as they won't charge me...but they already have!! There's no way I'll use them again.

I use online retailers like play.com, hmv, amazon etc all the time this was the first time I used The Hut I ordered my item 29/12/11 they took my money on 07/01/12 its now 24th of Feb 2012 and I still havn't received my order all I get are emails every week saying they apologise for the delay and they are keeping in contact with the suppliers and will let me know when they can send it. There was no mention when I ordered the item that it wasnt in stock and I have no idea if I will ever receive it, I wont be using this company again.

Order went through even though product was not available. Found out a few days later that it wasnt even in stock. Why can these companies be upfront about the stock they have rather than disapoint customers.

Further to my earlier comment, I finally got the refund, but I can't see myself using The Hut again. They tried to be helpful (to their credit, this is more than Play's customer service ever does), but trying isn't enough.

Unfortunately, my experience with their customer service was far from positive. I ordered an item and the wrong one was sent. When I tried to return it, they first spent some time trying to check if the warehouse had the alternative item so a straight exchange could be done. Or so they claimed, as no one ever got back to me. After a week or so and several phone calls, I was finally told to give the item to charity and a refund would be issued. I really didn't understand that, as I just wanted an authorisation number so that I could send it back. Well, no refund arrived. A waste of money on an unwanted product and phone calls (0844 number, so it's not cheap).

I've used The Hut twice now and never again. The first time I had an email saying their system had duplicated all orders, two items were dispached followed by a bag for me to send one back in. This time I ordered an in stock item, 11 days later and its still not dispached. I've now cancelled it and I will buy from someone more reliable.

Didn't track, lodged claim, refused payout due to other channel used. Total rubbish as I now clear cookies before every purchase. Increasingly frustrated with TCB. The mention that a pop up or advert could be another channel......so a merchant can use any excuse they like. I have pop ups disabled and I don't use any other cashback sites. I also clear cookies so if I'm getting caught out via this excuse, then basically the system is not fit for purpose.

Be careful .They are somewhat disingenuous in their advertising.I was offered a twenty quid discount on a sat nav but after getting my payment details it transpires that i have to sign up ,incurring an admin fee of 1.95 ,and then 14.95 a month if i dont cancel.Will never use again.

don't bank on recieving cashback from Hut/Zavvi,they often payout nothing after tracking correctly,they wouldnt have a 99.9% rate if they took all the zero payouts in to account!

Tracking has been a bit hit and miss for me, recently. 3 orders over 2 days, only 1 tracked! 2 claims have been submitted. Will wait and see how well the Hut deal with manual claims before giving up on them.
