Absolutely awful service from start to finish. After calling in for our recovery we were kepy waiting for hours. We phoned back to find out our call hadn't been put through properly. It got worse from there! Complaints proceedure unaccepptalble. Refusing to pay for expenses caused by THEIR ERRORS.

Rejected cashback ''Transaction cannot be traced'' even though i had a valid policy and was tracked in my account. Will not be buying from them again. I guess they are cheap for a reason.

Order date 3 November 2016 for new policy but did not track so raised a cashback claim on 10 November 2016. This claim is still showing a status of ready to submit more than 2 months after raising it. When I asked Top Cashback when my claim would be submitted they said it was in a queue but could not tell me when it would be submitted. Not a good experience so far but hoping this will get resolved eventually.

Cashback tracks quickly, but still waiting for payout 13 weeks later on an estimated payout time of 5 weeks. Not impressed.

Awful service. I broke down 50 miles from my home and it took them 6 hours to get me home! It took 2 1/2 hours alone for the recovery agent to arrive and they were based only 10 miles from where I broke down. Also start rescue did not text or call me once to keep me updated or check in how I was. I had to call them 4 times to chase up on what was happening. I was left on the side of a busy A road in the rain and cold and they clearly couldn't have cared less. I was then transported only 10 miles to the agents depot and then left there for another hour whilst waiting for another driver to take me home. Poor service, can't recommend. I guess you get what you pay for so I have now renewed with the AA.

TERRIBLE!!!!! Had to call them out today but they refused because we were 200 yards within the 1 mile zone,leaving myself and my young son stranded. Customer services awful !!!

A year on and my Start renewal is due in a few days, they have already sent a renewal offer and now have sent one with a 10% discount code on it. A year on and I am still waiting for my £5.31 cashback from them, they are terrible payers!!! I can't comment on the service as I didn't need it but they are all the same, they just call out the nearest independent garage. Its purely luck of the drawer if you get a good one or a duff one on the day.On principle I won't give any more business to a company that has successfully tracked cashback on a simple transaction and then just refuses to pay up. Its dishonest.

Start Rescue are saying that 'Another marketing channel was credited with the sale' this is not the case and they have no evidence, I believe that they just don't want to pay the cash back they promised and I will not use them again and I advise others not to either.

per other customer reviews the t&c's have changed since taking up this offer. there were no restrictions on use of voucher codes when i purchased, cashback now declined as a voucher code was used. stay away, unhappy customer >:-(

Cashback tracked and was payable very quickly. Not had to use the breakdown service yet, but this was over £100 cheaper than The AA renewal price I was quoted.
