Sent broken phone (no big deal it happens), told them immediately. After weeks of complete nonsense emails, claimed it was out of stock. I directed them to their own website that day where it was being sold. Then demanded that I pay more because they had raised their price, and now say it may take 7 more weeks, paid 9/25 estimated delivery 12/7.

Well wanted to share my experience with Gearbest customer service First i have never received my parcel , i sent an email to Gearbest, answered quickly promising to reship the item waited few weeks but nothing happened, sent them again email, they replied soon they will reship waited again week and nothing, sent them email but their answer was always same, then i opened paypal claim, they panicked and told me if i close the claim they will reship in 2 days i was stupid and closed the claim, now they are making me wait and wait, contacted paypal they told me they cant do nothing once claim closed. Basically i want warn you all here if you have any prob with Gearbest , carry on with claim and never close it if they ask you, actually they will just trick you , Chinese companies would die for 40 quid and never refund you.

Avoid avoid AVOID! Avoid this company at all costs. They sold me a router that does not work within Europe. The returns policy is beyond a joke. In spite of the router being sent from a Europe distribution centre I had to return to China to a different name and address to their company. They gave very specific instructions on how to return it. Their policy is that the cost of returns is the customers unless they receive the goods and it is faulty. In which case they will refund the postage. After 2 months of waiting I had not received anything. I had to ask DHL who said that Gearbest had not paid their import fees. Once they did receive it Gearbest then told me I had to pay the import fees as the customer and didn't include the postage! If an item is sold as described then you purchase in good faith that it will do the job it is intended to do. If is is missold however then the seller should refund ALL the amount and any postage. The implications of purchasing from them should be made 100% clear at purchase not hiding behind terms and conditions. They are in no position to be selling to the rest of the world. They should only deal with China until they get their ethics sorted. I am disgusted by this company, their communication and customer service. Needless to say I will never be using them again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Be careful and check your basket before buying. I added a camera to my basket, then applied the 8% topcashback voucher code and the price to pay went *UP* by 10%.

New customer special didn't get and special offer discount codes on site actually increase prices by more than 10%. Too many never to be repeated offers, only buy if original price is good and only expect lowest cashback shown

Do not buy from this firm. I made a purchase in November and am still waiting for my item to be delivered. Opted for standard delivery and so expected a bit of a wait for delivery but still no joy. Tried to raise issue with them directly but keep getting fobbed off. Have been asked to wait until January for item to arrive but was meant to be a Christmas gift

Take care when buying from GearBest. Their reviews are paid for, they post positive ones but dont post honest negatives one on thier site. Hence, all items they sell appear to be very high quality. That alone should set alarm bells ringing, but added that they pay reviewers, it should make you dubious about their items! Do a search elsewhere for the things they sell for genuine reviews! As for cashback, well, no suprise but not moved from pending since Nov (its now Jan)!
