      Book a train ticket on the go by downloading the First TransPennine Express app for iphone and Android devices.
      You can use the app to buy tickets on your phone up to 10 minutes before departure. Search times for any train in the UK and it will remember previous journeys and searches.

      Purchases made through the app are safe and secure, and they will not charge you any booking or credit card fees. Buy multiple tickets for up to eight people and check where your train is on their live departures and arrivals board. If you are travelling on a First TransPennine Express service, you can book advance rail tickets on the app and they will send you an mticket to your phone which you show to their staff.

  • Season Tickets
      If you travel regularly on the same rail route, buying a season ticket will save you time and money.
      They are valid for train travel on any day within the validity of the ticket and are available for seven days, one calendar month and any period between one and 12 months.

      They offer significant savings over buying an Anytime Day return each day and you will avoid having to queue for your ticket. Customers holding a valid one month or longer season ticket may make their normal journey in first class at weekends at no extra cost on TransPennine trains. A season ticket will still save you money if you only travel four days a week.
