Took out combined buildings & contents insurance in August for policy starting September. I'm pretty sure there was a note to say there's a 3 month qualifying period for the cashback, but this now seems to have moved a month to 4 & must be from the policy start date rather than the ordered date. Got a good price for the insurance, double nectar points on shopping & fuel for 2 years & received £50 in Sainsbury's vouchers yesterday. Cashback is very slow, but the insurance was a good deal, so overall a good experience.

didn't track at all, even after the waiting period. They also didn't send out documents properly. this was eventually sorted and after submitting a claim the issue was finally resolved

Recently took Pet Insurance with Sainsbury's and almost instantly £40 appeared in my account. Would defiantly recommend it.

Sainsburys unable to process our direct debit form and so sent a letter 4 weeks later to say that our insurance was cancelled and we had been uninsured. Topped with the fact that all contact numbers were offline for a whole 4 day weekend we obviously have gone to shop elsewhere and would never use them again.

Terrible - I made a purchase for sainsburys travel insurance in October and still haven't received my cashback. If you are going to use this retailer, I wouldn't bother going through top cashback! Travel insurance itself was fine.

ordered insurance back in April and it has taken 7 months of chasing to get the cashback which still cannot be claimed yet!
Don't think much of sainsburys tracking on \insurance :(

This merchant has a 4 month validation period, which will begin when your policy commences. After this time period, the merchant will go onto approve and award the valid transactions in batches, which will extend the time it takes for your transaction to reach the payable stage.
We hope that the Estimated date, displayed on your Earnings > CashBack by Date page will reflect a realistic timescale taking the above into consideration.

I have been trying to purchase home Insurance for the past couple of days via Sainsbury's web site. I keep getting the message that they are unable to process online at present, and to phone with a referance number.I am reluctant to do this as Topcashback clearly state to get cashback it should be completed in one process.

As with a previous member, I was hoping to take advantage of £50.50 Cashback for taking out Home Insurance with them online. As of today the offer expires in 2 days, but the site says that no online and call centre transactions are available until 3May2011, ie in 2 days! Somehow I doubt if the offer will be available then, it all depends on what "expires in 2 days" means. We'll see.

The offer on Top cashback for Sainsbury's home insurance cashback says "4 days to go", but as the Sainsbury's website is down as of yesterday until 3rd May, it's impossible to benefit from it. Doesn't fill me with confidence that a major retailer takes its website and contact centres offline for so long.

I bought car insurance in January and nothing tracked. Tcb replied that nothing could be done until 90 days after the purchase (because of qualification period for cashback eligibility). Tcb have now submitted the £30 claim to Sainsbury. I'll save a rating for when they decide to honour the cashback (or not!)
