JustWears Sustainability

Made from sustainable Austrian beech trees

Their amazingly soft cellulosic fibre, MicroModal Air, is made from fibres which are 40% cellulose and produced in an eco-responsible process which significantly reduces emissions and water impact.

In fact, this process uses 20 times less water than cotton.

As well as being sustainable, JustWears underwear also offers the best sweat-busting fabric.

The fresh-feeling antimicrobial properties in JustWears help prevent body odour. And while traditional cotton traps sweat and moisture, their MicroModal Air is 50% more absorbent and dries quickly — so you won’t feel sweaty or sticky down there anymore.

Also, Higg have reviewed JustWears’ sustainability profile and awarded their products a Level II certification. In order to achieve this, each product had to show at least a 25% reduction in environmental impact against three impact categories.

JustWears achieved a 51% reduction in global warming, a 43% reduction in fossil fuels and a 37% reduction in water scarcity.

JustWears’ boxers, briefs and trunks are also certified by ClimatePartner to be carbon neutral through compensating emissions via carbon offset projects.

They’re committed to being sustainable through every step of their process, and that includes their packaging.

This is made of recycled cardboard, which is 100% recyclable, reusable and biodegradable.

The production of their packaging goes through a lengthy process to remove any acid, bleach or other chemicals often found in these materials.

The JustWears story

The JustWears story began in a Bangkok hostel. That’s where Alex and Yang, who grew up on opposite sides of the world — one in China and the other in the United States — met.

After years of long distance, they finally decided to meet in the middle and make the United Kingdom their home.

While working in finance, Alex regularly complained about his underwear not fitting properly, and when they couldn’t find a solution in the market, Yang decided to do something about it.

She travelled around the globe, testing thousands of fabrics and beta tested more than 40 prototypes before finding one which everyone seemed to love.

Within the first 30 days of their Kickstarter launch, they had thousands of people pre-ordering JustWears. It quickly climbed the charts to become the most backed clothing project in the UK.

They went on Dragons’ Den in 2020, but turned down offers from both Tej Lalvani and Toukar Soulyman. Today, they’re still going strong.

Don’t forget, buy JustWears underwear through us this week and you can earn yourself an exclusive 15% cashback* when you buy online.
