This company has now closed down - ordered a washing machine from them, then got an email saying delivery would be delayed. Kept emailing them for an update with no response, then finally got a standard email saying they were no longer trading and refunds would be issued. Am still waiting for the refund...

Be warned this company is not to be trusted. At present being investigated by trading standards, if you are a victim and are still waiting for a refund contact Matthew.Chapman@leics.go.uk he is the officer collecting statements. Please help to stop this company spreading misery.

As an experienced online shopper I have been taught a harsh lesson by this company. Ordered a washing machine but 3 days later rang to see when I could expect delivery and was told it was out of stock. Asked to cancel order and was told to send an email. They did not acknowlege the email cancellation until several phone calls and emails later. Told that refund would take 30 days but guess what, 35 days later and still no refund. They blatently lie on the phone and give various excuses but the upshot is that they have not refunded my money. Have now asked my credit card company to take this up but this company should be reported, in my eyes its theft!

As previous reviews suggest if you do go with Ultimate Appliances expect it to be late. Our washing machine was in stock and took almost a month to deliver! I was told it was 'likely' to be delivered twice before it actually came. Customer service was polite but ineffective, if I didn't push them I am sure that I would still be waiting!

Do not shop with them. It is more than likely that they will not deliver on time. There is a high probability they will not get your delivery to you at all! In any such event you will struggle to get your refund from them....despite them saying it would be within 30 days (although most reputable companies will refund immediately).
Do a search about them.
DO NOT USE them no matter what you do!!
