  • What will stop me getting cashback?
    • If you get a quote via the TopCashback link but then purchase using a price comparison site, you will not receive cashback.
    • If the account application is in any way fraudulent, e.g. has been obtained with stolen or fabricated personal details.

    • If the Santander account has been cancelled or closed.

    • If you pay back the loan within 90 days of receiving the loan funds.

    • If your application for a Santander loan is declined.

    • If your application is completed over the telephone.

    • If your cashback is not fully completed online.

    • In order to receive the cashback you must click through to the Santander website via the TopCashback link. You must generate a new quote and purchase directly. Renewals do not qualify for cashback.
    • Using a promotional/voucher code not posted and approved by TopCashback.
  • What else is essential?
    • All transactions will be validated by Santander. There is a 90-day validation period from the application start date, after which Santander will confirm the transaction is valid. On meeting the criteria, any valid tracked purchases will be confirmed. Payment will take 4-6 weeks after this time. Cashback is confirmed within 90 days of your loan start date. Payment will take 4-6 weeks after this time.

    • Cashback is not issued by the merchant. If you have any queries regarding cashback or payments, please contact TopCashback directly and not the merchant.

    • Cashback rates are subject to change, both up and down.

  • Good to know
    •  All credit is subject to status. If you apply for a Santander loan, it will record a hard credit search on your credit file. This will remain on your credit report for 12 months.

    •  You must have a regular yearly income of £20,000+ to apply for loans of £20,000 or more (loans below £20,000 require a regular yearly income of £10,500+). You must have a regular yearly income of £10,500+ for loans up to £19,999, or £20,000+ for loans between £20,000 and £25,000.

    •  You must not have been declared bankrupt, had a CCJ or an IVA within the last 6 years.

    • Santander's loan terms and conditions apply and are displayed on Santander's website. You can use the Eligibility Checker on Santander's website to see your chance of being accepted for a loan before you apply. It will also give you a likely rate.

    •  You must be aged 21 or over.

    •  You must be employed, self-employed or retired.

    •  You must be on the electoral roll and live permanently in the UK.

  • What to do when
    • A "Missing Cashback" query must be submitted within 100 days of the transaction, if the transaction does not track automatically.

    • We will make all reasonable endeavors to secure the payment of commission on a transaction but we do not and cannot make any guarantee in this regard.

Details of your loan
Repayments - You choose when your loan repayment will be taken by Direct Debit each month, any time between the 1st and 28th, your first monthly payment will be taken on the 1st of the month. Your repayment amount is fixed and won’t change for the life of your loan.

Annual loan statement - Every year on the date you opened your loan, you’ll be sent a statement confirming details of the repayments you’ve made.

Early repayment - You can make unlimited overpayments at any time before your final repayment is due or you can repay your loan in full. You can find out how to do this in your agreement.
