No good if you've got a tow bar. If you have any kind of modification they can't give you an online quote. They ask you to ring them instead. Which means you won't get any cashback.

Still waiting for cash back after purchasing car insurance over 17 weeks ago. Cashback was stated to be within 8 weeks. John Lewis customer service is not all its cracked up to be. Will not purchase from this merchant again.

Took out insurance ce in August and received confirmation of cashback with wait for payout. Checked back after 3 months and found it had been declined, not what I expect fron John Lewis. Certainly won't renew with them next year. Told others of the experience.

Tried twice myself and know someone else who tried to complete quotation online in order to qualify for cash back, it was not possible to continue, agent could not see any reason why site was recording "error on page" and had to complete by phone, the complaints team said nothing wrong with site!

Still waiting for John Lewis to respond to a missing cashback claim some 4 months after taking out a fully comp policy - not helpful as I was made redundant in May and would have chosen a cheaper policy had I known I'd have been £50 out of pocket. Will definitely avoid using this company in the future

Quoted twice as much as most others I tried! £1056 for two middle aged drivers with full no claims, average car, low mileage, SDP only and a £300 excess. Ridiculous!
