The research found that nine in 10 of our offers are better than competitors*.

About the research
The independent research we refer to was conducted by Frontier Economics which is one of the largest economic consultancies in Europe, having operated for over 20 years.
We commissioned Frontier to conduct independent analysis comparing TopCashback’s cashback offers with its three largest competitors in the UK. The approach involved the following steps:
- Sourcing cashback rates for TopCashback and three competitors at two different, randomly chosen dates via a screen scraping tool Cleaned the data to ensure like-for-like cashback offers are being compared
- Matched retailers and offers between TopCashback and its competitors
- Compared cashback offers across TopCashback and its competitors for 'free' membership accounts
The independent comparison was conducted in May/June 2019 of directly comparable, like-for-like percentage cashback offers between TopCashback and its three largest UK competitors.
In total over 3,000 deals were compared on two different, randomly chosen dates and covered a very wide and random selection of deals across the fullest range of retailers on TopCashback. We expect the results to stand whatever date the data is checked as when a wide selection of deals are compared. It is therefore possible for anyone to verify the data at any time.
The cashback companies in our comparison set were TopCashback, Kidstart, Quidco and Swagbucks.
The key finding from the report was that TopCashback offers the best rate on 9 in 10 cashback offers.
