How does this 25%-off-six supermarket wine offer work?
With this deal, you’ll get 25% off the total price of six or more full-priced bottles of wine.
The offer is usually valid on selected bottles of red, white and rosé wine at the very least, but often also includes sparkling wines, prosecco and champagne. You don’t usually have to buy six of the same type of wine either, as most supermarkets will allow you to mix and match.
So, how does the maths add up? If you’re buying six bottles of wine and getting a 25% discount, that’s equivalent to getting 1.5 bottles for absolutely nothing.
For example, if each bottle costs £7, the full price for six would be £42, but after the 25% discount, you’d only pay £31.50. This is equivalent to 4.5 bottles of wine costing £7 each, meaning the remaining 1.5 bottles won’t cost you anything.
And while you might think these 25% off wine deals will be limited to the festive season, they’re actually available on and off all year round. Because of this, it’s worth doing a bit of research (or checking out our research) before you shop to see if you can get a discount.

Morrisons wine offers
With the Morrisons 25% off six bottles of wine deal, you can choose from over 400 red, white and rosé wines, as well as fizzes, Morrisons The Best wines and branded favourites. You’ll be limited to one set of six bottles per customer.
In the past, they’ve offered a slightly different deal: 25% off three bottles of Morrisons The Best Wine. This Morrisons wine offer includes a variety of red, white and rosé wines, from chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc to Châteauneuf Du Pape and Chianti.
When we checked this deal, these bottles started from £7, which means you could get three bottles for as little as £15.75.
There was a limit of just one deal per customer, so you'll be able to buy no more than three bottles.
Is this deal available online?
Yes, this wine deal is available online and in store. If you’re ordering online, delivery starts from £1.50 and you’ll need to spend a minimum of £25.
Sainsbury's wine offers
The Sainsbury’s 25% off six bottles of wine deal is valid on red, white, rosé and sparkling wine. You can mix and match these if you’d like and a maximum of 36 bottles can be bought.
Only bottles over £6 in England and over £7 in Wales are eligible in this Sainsbury’s wine offer. This deal isn't available in Scotland.
You can’t redeem this discount on bottles 200ml and under, any bottles of Sainsbury’s House wine, fortified wine, boxed wine or gift sets.
Sainsbury's sometimes also offer 25% off three selected bottles of Taste the Difference wine. The T&Cs and exclusions (including the fact you can buy up to 36 bottles at a time) are the same as their six-bottle deal.
Is this deal available online?
Yes, this wine deal is available online and in store. Their delivery starts from £1 and orders must be over £40 to avoid their £7 minimum shop fee.
Tesco wine offers
The six-bottle Tesco 25% off wine deal is exclusively available to Clubcard holders. Get 25% off six bottles of wine (or a maximum of 36 bottles), and choose from a wide range of red, white, rose, prosecco and champagne.
The offer excludes bottles under 200ml, Wine Route bottles, boxed wine and fortified wine. It can also only be redeemed on bottles over £5.50 in England and Northern Ireland, and a minimum price of £7 in Wales. This deal isn't available in Scotland.
Tesco sometimes also offer 25% off when you buy three or more selected bottles of Finest wine using your Clubcard. You can buy a maximum of 36 bottles, not including meal deal wines, fortified wines or bottles under 200ml.
Is this deal available online?
Yes, this wine deal is available when you order online or shop in store, although you won't find it in Express stores. Online orders must be £50 or over to avoid Tesco’s £5 minimum basket charge. Standard delivery starts from £3.
Asda wine offers
Enjoy 25% off six 75cl or 1.5L wine bottles costing £5.50 and above at Asda. Choose from their range of red, white and rosé wines, as well as prosecco, sparkling wines and champagne.
Bottles of wine under £5.50 aren’t eligible for this offer, and neither are gift sets, fortified wines or meal deal wines. Only customers in England and Northern Ireland can take advantage of this offer.
If this deal isn't on when you're next shopping for wine, it's also worth checking to see if they're running a similar deal, such as 25% off three selected bottles.
Is this deal available online?
Yes, the Asda wine deal is available online and in store. For online orders, you’ll need to spend £40 or more to avoid their £3 minimum order fee, and you can get a monthly delivery pass from £3.50 a month.
Ocado wine offers
The 25% off six bottles of wine deal at Ocado is valid on over a thousand different products, including red, white, rosé and sparkling wines.
You can buy a maximum of 18 bottles of wine and with bottles started from £5 each, meaning six bottles could be yours for £22.50.
The most recent deal of this kind from Ocado included M&S Mystery Bay Sauvignon Blanc, Calvet Picpoul De Pinet and a Jam Shed Australian Shiraz.
Is this deal available online?
Yes, this deal is available both online and in store. Ocado delivery starts from 99p. Your basket needs to total at least £75 if you want to avoid higher delivery charges of between £2.99 and £6.99.
Waitrose wine offers
This Waitrose deal allows shoppers to get 25% off six mix-and-match bottles of wine or Champagne priced £6 or over.
Last time this deal was on, wines included in this offer ranged from Montgravet Cinsault Rosé (£6.49 per bottle) to a magnum of Laurent-Perrier Brut (£99.99).

When we last checked the M&S website, they were offering up to 30% off selected wines, including red, white and rosé wine, champagne and prosecco.
In fact, if you’re looking to buy six bottles of the same wine, you might find some fantastic saving opportunities. We spotted a case of six Pavia Pinot Grigio bottles or six Leyda Sauvignon Blanc bottles, reduced from £60 to £40 per case.
That’s a saving of a third, which is actually better than the 25%-off deals we’ve talked about so far.

M&S wine deals are available for both online and in-store customers. Wine delivery costs £4.99 and you can get free delivery if you spend over £100.
Aldi wine deals
Aldi sometimes offer 25% off selected wines, with their last promotion of this kind running from December 11th, 2023.
They also have a Wine of the Week deal where they discount a single bottle of either red, white, rosé or sparkling wine, rather than run a more general percentage-off promotion.
When we last checked, we found a bottle of Specially Selected Australian Chardonnay and Grüner Veltliner for £8.99, down from £9.99.
Is this deal available online?
No, you can only take advantage of Aldi deals on wine and spirits when you shop in store. This is because Aldi no longer offer home delivery on alcohol or Specialbuys.
Co-op wine deals
The Co-op tends to offer discounts on a range of different individual wines at any one time. Some of these discounts are available to everyone and others are exclusive to Co-op members.
When we last checked the Co-op website, reduced wines included a bottle of Yellow Tail Shiraz, which was down from £8.85 to £7.85, and a Campo Viejo Tempranillo Rioja, which was reduced from £9.50 to £8.50.
Another past offer we've seen was a £5 discount on a purchase of three bottles of wine in store, which was exclusively for Co-op Members.
Is this deal available online?
Co-op wine deals are available in store and sometimes online too. They offer free delivery on all online orders over £25, with a £3 charge for orders under that amount.
If you’re doing your grocery shopping online, don’t forget to check if you can earn cashback on your order. If they’re on TopCashback, you may be able to earn cashback on top of your wine discount.

The Tesco offer is misleading anyway. To get 25% .off you have to buy a minimum of 3 bottles of the SAME wine in their Finest range. I don't normally get duped like this but they sure got me. I was guilty, though, of assuming the offer is the same one Sainsbury's regularly promotes which is much more straightforward and honest.
