If you’re a regular beer drinker or there’s a special occasion coming up, why not take advantage of supermarket beer offers? Save money on your favourite ales, lagers, ports, and stouts with some savvy shopping skills.
A lot of the beer deals will change through the year, with seasonal bargains and limited-time offers, so make sure you check back for the latest.
The good news is, loyalty programmes often offer consistent discounts throughout the year. So it could pay to be a member of Tesco Clubcard and Sainsbury’s Nectar to earn points and cut costs.
Let’s get into the top supermarket beer offers we found from major stores.

Bonus money-saving tips
Of course, that’s not all. We always love finding you ways of saving extra pennies and pounds wherever possible, so here are a last few tips.
Earn cashback when you buy online
We may be biased, but we think cashback is pretty great (and easy to use). It’s free to sign up as a member of TopCashback, and once you do, you can start earning commission on thousands of brands.
Any of the above supermarkets that feature a hummingbird qualify for cashback on our site. Click the hummingbird to take you to the brand page on TopCashback. From there, click ‘get cashback’ to go to the supermarket site and shop as normal.
This extra step means you’re being referred by us to the supermarket, meaning we get a commission. We give 100% of this commission to you and call it cashback. That’s the whole premise in a nutshell, easy!
Get £15 cashback for joining TopCashback
We secured this exclusive offer, but our content stays unbiased.
Spend £15+ at Asda, Ocado, Tesco or any of 5,000+ brands to get £15 back
It's really simple: our site takes just 30 seconds when you buy online.
You do the shopping, we'll track your purchase, and then you'll get cashback in your account to withdraw to your bank or as a gift card.
Here's how to get your £15 offer;
- Click: Click the green button
- Join: Create an account
- Shop: Browse brands on our site
- Buy: Click Get Cashback then make a purchase
- Enjoy: We'll add £15 to your account once we track your purchase
How does TopCashback benefit? We make money when you buy from supported brands, which allows us to offer cashback with no hidden fees.
Boost your cashback with Reward Wallet
Now that you’re a cashback earner, there are lots of little ways to boost your earnings. With Reward Wallet, you can boost your cashback total by cashing out via a retailer instead of straight to your bank account.
We feature Iceland, Asda, Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, and Waitrose as retailers within our Reward Wallet scheme at rates between 3% and 5%*. Your cashback will be boosted by this amount and you can then spend it on your beer deals.
*Cashback rates correct at the time of writing
So what does this mean in real terms?
Say you’ve racked up £40 in cashback earnings and you choose to cash out via Reward Wallet with Tesco at a 5% rate. This means you’ll get an extra £2 with the 5% boost, totalling £42 to spend at Tesco (and save on beer).
Fill your basket to get free delivery
If you’re saving money on beer deals, don’t spend that money on delivery when you don’t need to.
Iceland is the only supermarket from this guide that offers free delivery, although Sainsbury’s offers free next-day click n collect. They both have minimum spends of £40.
Other cheap options include click & collect for 25p at Tesco and 50p at Asda (£25 minimum spend). Get £1 saver slots at Tesco (£40 minimum), £1.50 at Asda (no minimum), and £1.50 at Morrisons (£25 minimum).
Take advantage of loyalty schemes
It seems like a no-brainer to us; join a loyalty scheme for free and get consistently lower prices. Tesco Clubcard almost always has offers that are significantly lower than their usual prices. Sainsbury’s Nectar programme also comes with lots of benefits, so as long as you remember to add your card at checkout, you’re quids in.

Stock up during seasonal events
Christmas, Black Friday, Easter, Bank Holidays, and other events often feature big sales. It just makes sense to stock up on beer deals, even if you’re not going to use them immediately.
Bottoms up!
Now that you’ve got the skinny on supermarket beer offers, you can keep your costs low on your favourite brewskis.
Beer discounts are a useful way of keeping your fridge stocked for less; so next time the price is good, fill that basket.
