The information in this guide includes past details from the Sweet Treats game we launched in March 2025.
As many of our dedicated members know, we faced some technical difficulties with our Summer Treats game back in July. This meant we made the difficult decision to end that round of the game early, and raffled off the prize pot to those who’d collected a hummingbird when they’d previously played the game.

We’re a little bit sentimental about our Sweet Treats game. We’ve run it so many times over the years, with the first-ever Sweet Treats competition taking place all the way back in 2015.
Until the start of 2025, it had been quite a few years since we’d run a Sweet Treats giveaway. We know you’ve missed it (we’ve read your comments!), so we brought it back.
If you’re wondering what all the fuss is about, our Sweet Treats game is an online treasure hunt that’s free to play. You could win anything from 10p cashback to £1,000 cash.

When is Sweet Treats?
Sweet Treats isn’t currently running. We'll be sure to let you know the key dates should a new game be announced.
What can I win when I play Sweet Treats?
The prizes up for grabs in our Sweet Treats giveaway in March/April 2025 added up to an impressive £15,000.
This total was made up of Instant Win prizes and the £1,000 mega prize draw.
Each time you find a hummingbird on site and click it, the hummingbird will reveal either an Instant Win prize board prize, or you’ll get an entry to the mega prize draw.
Here’s a rundown of the prizes we gave out in March.
Instant Win prizes
Instant Win prizes ranged from 10p to £100 cashback, with £14,000 worth of cashback prizes available to win.
Some prizes only require you to find one of each item, whereas the bigger prizes are only given to those who find four or five of that item. With that in mind, it’s worth checking the site every day for a chance to win bigger cashback prizes. Here’s an example of a full Instant Win prize list from March 2025:

Find 1 cola bottle to win 20p
Find 2 cherry lips to find 50p
Find 2 foam hearts to win £1
Find 3 bonbons to win £5

You can keep collecting Instant Prizes each day, right up until the end of the Sweet Treats game. They don't reset until the end of the game. For example, you could win £10 by collecting three flowers on three different days during the competition.
Mega prize draw entries
Every hummingbird you find during the Sweet Treats game will get you one grand prize draw entry.
The lucky winner of our mega prize draw will win a whopping £1,000 in cash. The more entries you have, the higher your chance of winning the grand prize.
To increase your chances of winning, you can earn some extra prize draw entries when you share your My Prize Board game progress on social media. You can get five extra entries for sharing on Facebook and another five entries for sharing on Twitter/X.
How do I play Sweet Treats?
Sweet Treats is a treasure hunt-style hummingbird game that’s free to play and easy to win.
There will be hummingbirds hovering on different pages around the TopCashback website, with clues released on our site daily to help you find them. Here’s your step-by-step guide to playing.
#1 Sign up and/or log in to TopCashback
The Sweet Treats cashback giveaway is only open to TopCashback members, so you’ll need to make sure you’re signed up and logged in if you want to take part.

#2 Browse the website for flying hummingbirds
Throughout the game, there will be flying hummingbirds on various pages of the TopCashback website. These will be visible on the main website and our mobile website, although you won’t find them in the app.
We’ll release a clue each day to help you work out where to find that day’s hummingbird.
You can find the daily clue on your Sweet Treats prize board, on our social media pages, or by checking the daily clue section of this guide.
Once you’ve worked out which page you need to look at from our daily clue, just type in the brand name in the search bar. Once you spot one, all you need to do is click on it and your prize will be revealed.
You’ll be guaranteed to find a hummingbird on the page if you’ve guessed the daily clue right. So, if you can’t find a bird on the page, double-check you’ve got the answer right! You don’t need to put the answer to the clue anywhere – it’s just a nudge to help you find the next bird.
As well as the daily clue hummingbirds, there will also be random hummingbirds flying around the TopCashback website. The more pages you click on, the higher your chances of spotting one!
Bonus tip:
If you look on a brand page and don’t find a bird, try again after three days, as one may still appear. This is because the game refreshes every three days, so you may have a chance of finding a bird if you’re patient.
#3 Check back each day
There are new clues released each day throughout the Sweet Treats game, which means you have at least one chance every day to win yourself a prize.
Every time you unlock an Instant Win prize, it will be automatically added to your personal prize board on your TopCashback account. This makes it easy to see what you’ve won so far, and also keep track of which sweet treats you’re missing.
Where can I find the daily clues?
When the game is running, we’ll be keeping all of the Sweet Treats daily clues here. Work out each of these daily clue answers to maximise your chances of winning instant prizes and the mega prize draw.
Missed a clue? Not a problem! You can visit these pages on any day during the game to find hummingbirds you've missed.

The longer you spend on the TopCashback site, the greater the chance you have of spotting a flying hummingbird while you browse.
Check the daily clues
We launch a new clue every single day during the Sweet Treats competition, so it’s important you keep an eye out for our clues each day.
While you may still find a hummingbird on a page hinted at in a previous day’s clue, your chances of spotting one will be higher if you visit the page on the same day the clue is released.
Missed a day? No problem. You can go back to find hummingbirds you’ve missed from previous daily clues.
Keep an eye on our social media
We’ll be sharing each day’s clues on social media, so it’s a good idea to turn on your alerts so you never miss one. We’ll also be including each of the clues on this page, so checking back here is another way to make sure you stay in the loop.
Spread the word on social
If you share your My Prize Board Sweet Treats progress with your friends on Facebook or Twitter/X, we’ll reward you with five extra prize draw entries. The more entries you have, the higher your chances of winning.
Remove any ad or cookie blockers
Our Sweet Treats game relies on cookies. Make sure the device you’re playing on doesn’t have any ad or cookie blockers installed, as these could impact your ability to play.

How can I find hummingbirds on TopCashback?
Hummingbirds will be dotted all around the TopCashback site during the Sweet Treats game. You can find them on different pages each day, so make sure you check our daily clues to help you find them.
Bear in mind that you’ll only find birds on pages on the TopCashback website, not on the retailer’s own website.
What are TopCashback treats?
The TopCashback treats up for grabs in Sweet Treats range from 10p cashback to a £1,000 cash prize, which one lucky person will win.
What is the TopCashback daily clue?
The daily clues can be found here.
I've missed a day, can I go back?
Yes! Don't worry if you've missed a daily clue. There will still be a hummingbird on each daily clue page, even after that day has passed, so you can go back and catch any you've missed.
Can I play Sweet Treats on the mobile app?
No, Sweet Treats is currently a website-only game. You can play on your desktop or mobile browser.
Will my prizes reset each day?
No, your prizes won't reset each day. Your Instant Win prizes will be stored in your prize board throughout the game. For example, you could win £5 by collecting three iced teas on three different days during the game.
How are the prizes distributed?
We make sure to distribute the prizes evenly throughout the game, which means you’ll have a chance to win prizes every single day, including on the last day. There isn’t a particular strategy to win. The more pages you click on, the more likely you are to find a bird.
As for hummingbirds you find on other pages (that aren’t from daily clues), these are randomised for everyone. So, if your friend finds a bird on a particular page, that doesn’t mean you will.
There isn’t a maximum number of birds you can find each day, but we do have anti-cheat mechanisms in place.
