Tesco Pimm's offers

There are currently no discounts on 1 litre bottles of Pimm's at Tesco, although you can get a reduced price on a 70cl bottle with your Clubcard.

Sainsbury's Pimm's offers

1 litre bottles of Pimm's are currently out of stock at Sainsbury's, although Nectar members can snap up a sweet deal on 70cl bottles.

Morrisons Pimm's offers

Buy Pimm's by the litre at Morrisons and get a decent discount with your More Card. You can't buy 70cl bottles right now, but this 1 litre deal works out as better value for money.

Asda Pimm's offers

Asda's 1 litre Pimm's deal is the cheapest on the market right now. They don't currently have any 70cl bottles available to buy online, but the deal below is cheaper than the smaller bottle anyway.

Ocado Pimm's offers

Buying a 1 litre bottle of Pimm's at Ocado will cost you less right now than a 70cl bottle, as these are currently full price at £19.50.

Waitrose Pimm's offers

Waitrose currently have discounted 70cl bottles of Pimm's on offer, but their 1 litre bottles are out of stock.

Co-op Pimm's offers

Unfortunately, there aren't any Co-op Pimm's offers right now. Come back next week to see if they've released any more deals.

The best Pimm's alternatives at supermarkets right now

There aren’t that many dupes for the Pimm's No.1 Cup original recipe, although a few supermarkets do offer their own, more affordable versions.

Pimm’s is made using a closely-guarded recipe, but we’ve heard these alternatives come pretty close to matching that balance of complex fruity notes, warm spices and caramelised orange.

What is Pimm's and how is it served?

Pimm's is a unique-tasting, fruity spirit drink, made using a secret recipe of gin, herbs and liqueur.

Usually served with lemonade or soda, the flavour is described as a ‘delicate combination of botanicals, caramelised orange and warm spices.’ It was invented by food proprietor James Pimm way back in 1823, making it a British summer staple.

With its sweet, fruity notes mixed with herbal spice, this gin-based fruit cup can divide a room. But if you’ve had it before and didn’t enjoy it, the answer could be in how it was served.

So, how should Pimm's be served? Pimm's is traditionally mixed with lemonade, lots of ice, strawberries, cucumber and mint. For a fresh citrus hit, you could add some orange slices. You can make it up by the glass, or mix it all together in a jug so the fresh fruits have time to absorb the alcohol.

The ideal proportion of Pimm's is about one part Pimm's to three parts lemonade. So, if you’re making up a jug, you could mix 200ml of Pimm's with 600ml of lemonade.
