Right now, you can snap up a sweet discount on 1 litre bottles of Pimm's at Tesco when you scan your Clubcard. 70cl bottles are currently full price at £18.50.

Morrisons Pimm's offers

Buy Pimm's by the litre at Morrisons and get a decent discount with your More Card. You can't buy 70cl bottles right now, but this 1 litre deal offers great value for money.

Ocado Pimm's offers

You can get 70cl bottles of Pimm's at a cheaper price right now at Ocado, but there are no deals on 1 litre bottles. Bear in mind that other supermarkets have 1 litre bottles at a lower price than this Ocado 70cl deal.

Sainsbury's Pimm's offers

There aren't currently any Pimm's discounts for Sainsbury's customers.

Waitrose Pimm's offers

Waitrose doesn't currently have any discounted 70cl or 1 litre bottles of Pimm's on offer.

The best Pimm's alternatives at supermarkets right now

There aren’t that many dupes for the Pimm's No.1 Cup original recipe, although a few supermarkets do offer their own, more affordable versions.

Pimm’s is made using a closely-guarded recipe, but we’ve heard these alternatives come pretty close to matching that balance of complex fruity notes, warm spices and caramelised orange.

What is Pimm's and how is it served?

Pimm's is a unique-tasting, fruity spirit drink, made using a secret recipe of gin, herbs and liqueur.

Usually served with lemonade or soda, the flavour is described as a ‘delicate combination of botanicals, caramelised orange and warm spices.’ It was invented by food proprietor James Pimm way back in 1823, making it a British summer staple.

With its sweet, fruity notes mixed with herbal spice, this gin-based fruit cup can divide a room. But if you’ve had it before and didn’t enjoy it, the answer could be in how it was served.

So, how should Pimm's be served? Pimm's is traditionally mixed with lemonade, lots of ice, strawberries, cucumber and mint. For a fresh citrus hit, you could add some orange slices. You can make it up by the glass, or mix it all together in a jug so the fresh fruits have time to absorb the alcohol.

The ideal proportion of Pimm's is about one part Pimm's to three parts lemonade. So, if you’re making up a jug, you could mix 200ml of Pimm's with 600ml of lemonade.
