McDonald’s have gone back to their roots in recent months. Last year’s McDonald’s Monopoly game was an absolute blast from the past, featuring historic favourite characters like the Hamburglar, Birdie and Grimace.

When it comes to these new McDonald's cards, there's one very notable famous face among them: Ronald McDonald. Whether or not you have any residual fear of the clown from your childhood is a different question altogether. This card looks like a particularly rare one, and we're not yet sure if it fits into the Legendary card category or sits somewhere on its own.

While McDonald's have partnered with The Pokémon Company to give away collectable cards in the past, this new game is the first iteration of a McDonald's trading card game.

What are McDonald's cards worth?

The McDonald's trading cards themselves are likely to be worth a fair bit of money for resellers, with some cards being rarer than others. We think the shiny Legendary cards are likely to be most valuable, including the Legendary Golden Arches card.

There are lots of McDonald's cards listed on eBay, including a McDonald's Multimixer card listed at over £300 and a range of bundles.

Which McDonald's card is the rare one?

The card you want to look out for is the Golden 25th Ronald McDonald card. There are only 10 of these cards up for grabs, and each one will win the lucky cardholder a whopping £10,000 in cash.

What McDonald's meals come with free cards?

You can bag yourself a four-pack of McDonald's cards when you buy one of the following Medium and Large McDonald's CARDS meals:

What prizes are up for grabs?

Each pack of cards contains one character card, which will get you a selected free food item. The other three cards hold an opportunity to win even more prizes in the app, including up to £1,000 cash.
