National Trust did not pay cashback on a lifetime membership that I purchased as a gift. I can only assume that they refused to pay because they deemed the cashback too much; they did not give a reason why. They should not advertise cashback if they are not going to pay it. Whilst it is a relatively small amount of the total cost, their refusal to pay undermines the system and leaves a sour taste. By far the worst merchant I have used on Top Cashback, who were helpful in following up the claim.

Avoid this retailer!!!!! I took out a membership with the National Trust because their cashback was excellent and I wanted to give it as a present. Now, nearly SEVEN MONTHS LATER, still nothing has come through and although the casback team say they are working on it I am not getting anywhere!

they warn you that it can take upto 4 weeks to deliver the pack, it only took mine 4 days.

Cash back tracked and then was declined (i have raised a query). I bought a couples membership for family, when raising a missing cash back claim you have to enter a membership number. However, it is not my membership number as it bought for someone else, and there are 2 memberships numbers (as its a couples membership i purchased).

Declines cashback without giving reason. Either TCB link doesnt work or National Trust are payment dodgers. I advise you use another cashback site before you part with your hard earned £108

Didn't honour the cashback payment on our Lifetime joint family membership! NOTHING in notes excluded this membership from cashback it tracked fine THEN National Trust withdrew the claim and it's taken Topcashback 6 months to tell me the National Trust won't honour the £47 payment when we have spent nearly £2k on membership!!!!

glad of the cashback. However almos 100% of the houses are closed so it's money wasted joining National Trust as a member at this time of year

Totally livid. I did everything right and applied for life membership, expecting £228 cashback. I got £0. The site now states that life membership is excluded, but it did NOT when I applied on 30/11/14 and when I submitted my missing cashback claim. If this was a legal issue, then I would win this case, but cashback does not seem to work like that. Do not trust this cashback.

what a rubbish service from NT. No cash back even though I followed the links, this supplier should be removed if they will not honour the cashback, Expect £0 cash back. Also when I made the purchase no info on my application, everything just goes into a black hole, maybe their administration comes from yesteryear too ??

tracked ok,pack arrived promptly,cashback offered in august 2011 was 30%,but now new years eve and still waiting for cashback to be paid,followed all the rules to the letter,put in missing claims,top cashback should rate this only as a "maybe you will get cashback,maybe not-its a gamble!"
