Misleading Headine
Received 95p for a £112 order, seems hardly worth it and I'm sure the middleman made a disproportionate cut of the proceeds. 42% cashback only on an unpopular product with pittance paid for everything else. I should've used the voucher I found elsewhere.

After six month, my claim with Comet was not approved. The comment was that another marketing channel was credited with the sale. Absolute bollocks, just a getout. Well if that's supposed to make me shop at Comet you can stick it where the sun won't shine.

What can I say about Comet's cashback, diabolical. I ordered a fridge on a sunday morning via reserve and collect, after my old fridge brooke down, got a text to say it was ok to collect. drove to my 12 miles to the store. just minutes before arriving at the store, got a call to say they'd made a mistake and they didn't have it. Drove back home, tried a reserve and collect at the nearest branch that claimed it was in stock, 55 miles away, confirmed by phone that this was the case, went and collected. got home installed the fridge to find some of the components missing, next day went to my nearest branch who told me I'd have to liaise with the branch I brought it from 55 miles away. instead I call customer services, who agree to send me out the missing parts, of which not all arrive. Only then to find that Comet have reneged on on my cash back quoting that the item was either cancelled or returned. The only reason we went to such trouble was due to us having a small baby and needing to freeze and refridgerate milk. very very disgruntled customer. never use this merchant for reserve and collect. personally they've lost my custom forever

Bought a tumble drier in early Feb.. cashback tracked really quickly but then went to zero on date due for payout. Have submitted claim to topcashback and sent nudges etc but nothing. Will not use comet again on principle and do not expect to receive this cashback. Really disappointed.

be very careful of buying goods with this retailer.. read the t&cs properly esp the seven day notice and also , ensure the packaging is NOT OPEN!!!OTHERWISE YOU CAN NOT RETURN THE GOODS IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY!!.. i will never buy gods thru this company again even if they are based in my home town of Hull

Bought tumble dryer early Feb... cashback tracked almost immediately - however on due date to be paid tracked to zero and said that order had been cancelled.. have sent cashback claim in... still waiting. Would be very reluctant to buy from comet again.

I recently purchased an iPad from comet the customer service was excellent, the product was ready to pick up in half an hour, plus going through the topcashback site, I also earned cash back, just for shopping with them, hope this helps .

Went with Comet purely because Cashback was slightly higher than others, making IPad 2 slightly cheaper. Never again will I shop at Comet, regardless of any amount of Cashback. I have had similar very poor customer service before with this retailer, and infact I did stop shopping there, but thought after being bought out, that they might have changed...but no, they haven't. Initially, the sales assistant at Comet (Doncaster) was pleasant...that was until I refused to pay over £100 for their extended warranty. He wouldn't take no for an answer and tried his hardest to convince me to have it, even after repeatedly saying no. His attitude and look then changed, and it made me feel like I'd done something wrong for refusing. This approach is pressured selling, and I am totally against this, as it is mainly the vulnerable that fall for it. Comet should be ashamed of themselves for using this tactic. There is only one way they are going...no wonder they were sold for £2. it goes without saying...I won't be shopping there again.
