Where is my cashback?

If you’ve bought insurance through Confused.com via TopCashback, your transaction will undergo a 90 day validation period before it’s validated, if all our T&Cs have been met.

To check on the progress of your cashback, go to the activity section in your TopCashback account.

  • "Pending" means your transaction is undergoing our 90 day validation period. This will track at £0.00 until it reaches the "Confirmed" stage.
  • "Confirmed" is when your transaction has met all our T&Cs. So you should see the amount of cashback owed to you.
  • "Payable" means you’re now able to withdraw the cashback from your TopCashback account. This usually happens around 4-6 weeks after your transaction has reached the "Confirmed" stage.

Why was my cashback rejected?

There are a number of reasons why your cashback may be rejected such as, if you or your insurer, cancel your policy before cashback is deposited in your TopCashback account, you have received any other offers or discounts offered by Confused.com, or editing or using a previously saved quote from your Confused.com account. The full list is detailed in our T&Cs on TopCashback. If you believe your cashback has been rejected by mistake, please raise a missing cashback query with TopCashback for further investigation.

Unfortunately, we’re not able to accept queries directly at Confused.com, as cashback is issued through TopCashback.
 

Why has my cashback not tracked into my TopCashback account?

Your transaction can take up to 30 days before it appears as "Pending" in your TopCashback account. If after this time your transaction is not appearing in your cashback account as "Pending" or "Tracked" then we recommend you raise a missing cashback query with TopCashback for further investigation.

Once you’ve logged in to your TopCashback account, go to support and look for ‘missing cashback claim’ or ‘help centre’.
