Cashback terms and exclusions

How does it work?
  • Exclusively for Santander personal current account holders. Sorry, cahoot, Cater Allen and Business Banking current accounts are not eligible. If you close your current account, you stop earning cashback and we’ll stop charging the monthly fee.
  • You can apply for a credit card if you’re a permanent UK resident aged 18 years or over, have a guaranteed annual income of £10,500 or more (before tax), have a good credit record and have not been declared bankrupt, had a CCJ or an IVA within the last 6 years.
  • All credit is subject to status and credit checks. You can use the Eligibility Checker on Santander's website to see your chance of being accepted for this card before you apply. It will also give you a credit limit.
What will stop me getting cashback?
  • If you already have an Edge credit card.
  • If your application for the credit card is declined.
  • If your credit card has not been activated.
  • If the account application is in any way fraudulent, e.g. has been obtained with stolen or fabricated personal details.
  • If you get a quote via TopCashback but then purchase using a price comparison site.
  • Using a promotional/voucher code not posted and approved by TopCashback.
What else is essential?
  • Purchases must be completed immediately and fully online.
  • To be eligible for Santander Boosts, you must have a personal Santander debit or credit card, be 18 years or over and be registered for Online and Mobile Banking.
  • All transactions will be validated by Santander. There is a 90-day validation period from the application date, after which Santander will confirm the transaction is valid. On meeting the criteria, any valid tracked purchases will be confirmed. Payment will take 4-6 weeks after this time.
  • Cashback is not issued by the merchant. If you have any queries regarding cashback or payments, please contact TopCashback directly and not the merchant.
  • Make sure you have third party cookie tracking enabled and you allow the confirmation page to fully load before closing the window. We highly recommend you clear your cookies before proceeding through this link.
  • This merchant calculates cashback excluding VAT, delivery and any other charges.
What to do when
  • A "Missing Cashback" query must be submitted within 100 days of the transaction, if the transaction does not track automatically.
