Website seems very glitchy. I have often received server scripting errors part way through the purchasing process which has resulted in having to repopulate the basket. I have also had card processing errors which have resulted in a non-purchase with no explanation - I suspect their link to the card processor was broken. Good potential, but you need a patience of a saint to use the site as it is very unintuitive.

5 months on and my cashback still hasn't been paid - poor! That's a shame, because I actually prefer Red Spotted Hanky to Trainline.com, as they don't charge a booking fee just before checkout.

Used RSH for the first time this Thursday purely because they do not charge fees etc., the cash back was an extra bonus. I WILL NOT BE USING THEM AGAIN! Booked for one adult and one child to go to London, booking process fine, but when I got the confirmation email my seat are not together (16A and 20A going, coming back they are 24A and 29A) I immediately rang customer service to get this changed but was told it had to go to another department and would take 48hrs. Not happy with this I also emailed RSH which was read at 9.45am on Friday but I am still waiting for a reply, (Saturday) When I got home on Friday the tickets had arrived (quick delivery) but with no change in the seating!!! Surely when you book tickets for an adult and a child to travel together it makes common sense to seat them together. I will not be using RSH again their customer service is awful.

I've spent hundreds and hundreds of pounds on this merchant through topcashback and I still have never even had the cashback tracked for any of my transactions. Really disappointing as this seemed like such a great deal! Hoping that it will be sorted out soon.

Avoid this site. Have only had bad experiences from them. Poor postage and terrible customer service which involved one of the team hanging the phone up on me just because I said I wasn't happy with the service. Go with Crosscountry trains who have no booking fee and also then offer compensation if trains are delayed by more than 30 minutes unlike rsh.

Don't use this retailer. I booked train ticket but upon confirmation part of the journey was different option (there were 2 options and it gave me the option I didn't click). I have spent 2 days trying to get someone to answer the phone and sent numerous emails. None responded to. Has red spotted hanky gone out of business that there is no one checking their emails ( sent using the contact us button on their website). Cheap tickets, not really as eastmidlands trains were cheaper on my journey ONLY USE IF YOU ARE PREPARED TO BE IGNORED WHEN TICKETS ARE PRINTED WRONG NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

Purchases always track but they never pay out. I have some from Aug 2013 and still waiting for cashback to be paid. not impressed

BE WARNED! In my experience the cashback tracks very quickly and accurately - but they don't pay out. I've got over 10 transactions showing, as far back as 20th May (8mths) with no sign of cash. By all means use them - they are otherwise good - but don't hold your hopes out for a payout!

Really pleased to see these on here as I use Red Spotted Hanky all the time. Easy to use, easy to find cheapest fares and can always get their tickets posted (or collected from station ticket machines) instantly. Not only do they have no booking fees for card payments (unlike several others), in addition to TopCashback their website gives an effective 1% Cashback in rewards (to use on future travel or other retail offers). I also pay using Santander 123 Credit Card which gives 3% cashback on the card for all petrol and travel purchases via select deals including RedSpottedHanky. Perfect!

Good to see REDSPOTTEDHANKY has been added to TCB - been using them for sometime - excellent site with good offers, plus you can also exchange your Tesco Clubcard Vouchers for REDSPOTTEDHANKY e-vouchers. £10 Tesco vouchers will give you £20 on REDSPOTTEDHANKY. Will be purchasing through TCB from now.
