Cashback terms and exclusions

What else is essential?
  • Only clicks generated from inside the UK will be accepted onto this campaign from Powershop .
How does it work?
  • After clicking through to the Powershop website from the link, you must generate a new quote and complete the transaction within 30 days.
  • The standard Powershop account eligibility criteria apply.
  • Make sure you have third party cookie tracking enabled and you allow the confirmation page to fully load before closing the window. Whilst the vast majority of transactions from merchants track successfully, occasionally a transaction may not get reported. If you believe this to be the case, please submit a 'Missing Cashback' query within 30 days of the transaction, as we will be unable to chase up older claims
  • In order to receive the cashback you must click through and register your details on the landing page provided before proceeding to the Powershop website via the Top Cashback link where you must generate a new quote and purchase directly. Renewals do not qualify for cashback.
What will stop me getting cashback?
  • Cashback will not be paid if the account application is in any way fraudulent, e.g. has been obtained with stolen or fabricated personal details
  • Cashback is only available on Powershop acccounts set up online.
  • Cashback will not be paid if the Powershop account has been cancelled or closed.
What else is essential?
  • Purchases must be completed immediately and fully online.
  • You must provide Powershop with the same name, postcode and email address of the person who is switching energy and the postcode of the property that the switch will occur on when you register on this page. If you don’t it may prevent us being able to identify your account and will delay your cashback claim. The details provided on this page will only be used to process your cashback successfully and will only be used for this purpose. You must switch or take out your energy with Powershop within 29 days of clicking through to the Powershop site in order to receive your cashback. If it is outside of 29 days you will need to follow this procedure again
  • This programme is being monitored. Any accounts holders making fraudulent applications to Powershop will have their membership terminated immediately and may have their details passed to the authorities for further investigation.
  • All transactions will be validated by Powershop. There is a 120 days validation period from the fuel supply start date, after which Powershop will confirm the transaction is valid. On meeting this criteria, any valid tracked purchases will be confirmed.
  • Cashback rates are subject to change, both up and down.
  • Members should only use voucher codes listed on Top Cashback. If you use voucher codes or gift vouchers that are not listed on TopCashback your cashback may not track or be declined.
  • This merchant calculates cashback excluding VAT, delivery and any other charges.
What to do when
  • A "Missing Cashback" query must be submitted within 100 days of the transaction, if the transaction does not track automatically.
  • We will make all reasonable endeavors to secure the payment of commission on a transaction but we do not and cannot make any guarantee in this regard.
