You can take 14 days to try on and make a decision about an item before having to pay a penny, then pay the minimum, full balance or any amount in between (representative 39.9% APR variable) when you receive your statement.

You will also receive exclusive discounts, offers and product news. If you do not pay the balance in full, interest will be charged from the date of delivery, on a daily basis, until the outstanding balance is paid in full.

You can apply for a personal account during the checkout process and you will be asked a few questions to see if you are eligible. Once you have had a personal account for more than nine months, you may be eligible to take advantage of 'buy now, pay later', which means that if you spend £100 or more, you can pay nothing for up to 12 months and pay no interest if you clear the balance before the end of the 'buy now, pay later' period.

Freemans offer free standard delivery on most items to most areas, which will see your order arrive within two working days.

Some items are available for next day delivery, seven days a week (exceptions apply to certain areas). Just place your order before 10.30pm Monday-Sunday for guaranteed next day arrival (excluding Bank Holidays). Many items can be delivered on a date which suits you via their stated day delivery service.

Products available for next day delivery are eligible for this service and you can choose for them to arrive before or after 1pm. Alternatively, you can choose to collect your order from one of many myHermes ParcelShop stores.

They will tell you when it is ready to be collected and you will need to take a form of ID, such as a passport, driving licence, bank card or national ID card, and either the text saying your item is available for collection or a printout of the order confirmation.

If you are unhappy with an item you buy, you can return it under their 14-day Home Approval Policy, as long as it is sent back complete, unused and in its original packaging, where possible (exclusions apply).

You also have the right to cancel the contract within 14 days without giving a reason (exclusions apply). The 14 days is the time you have to decide whether to cancel. You will then have a further 14 days to send the goods back. You must inform Freemans of your decision to cancel the contract by letter or email, including your name, address, account number, order/invoice number and item number.

Alternatively, you can use the cancellation form, a link to which you will find on the returns page. If you cancel the contract, they will either collect the goods from you or you can return items using their postal returns service. Either way, they will cover the cost.

To send items back, complete the returns form on your dispatch note with your reason for return and enclose it in the parcel, while if you are returning via courier or Post Office, you will need to enter your name and address on the relevant return form.

You can then arrange for your package to be picked up via the returns section in 'My Account' or take it to your local Post Office, who will provide you with proof of purchase. Only parcels which weigh 3kg or less and do not exceed 610mm x 460mm x 460mm can be returned via a Post Office.

Parcels which weight 15kg or less and do not exceed 1.2m in length x 1m girth can be returned via a ParcelShop by peeling of the returns label and sticking it to your parcel, covering the original label.
