I read the reviews of other One.com users before I decided to take the plunge. I noticed that a fair few people left poor reviews because of the T&C's of the host, so I made sure to properly read those before signing up.
I wanted a simple hosting solution so I could upload and run my new forum. I paid for the service and about two hours later it was set up and ready for my PHPBB3 board to be uploaded and installed. As I've done this before I did not need to contact One.com's customer service department, so I cannot comment on their service as yet.
I've had my board up and running for just over two months now and the only problems I've encountered are some minor slow-downs at peek times and a couple of outages that have lasted only a few minutes. Honestly, for the price of the hosting I thought I'd see way more drop outs and slow downs than I have!
I just can't find fault with this service. If you're web-savvy and know your way around a server and just want something cheap as a test bed, or even for a small online store, then this could work well for you. If you need things like Fantastico then this is not the hosting company for you.
My forum's growing quicker than I expected so I may need to contact One.com's customer service sooner than later, so I shall update this review whatever service I receive, but I'm hopeful it'll be as good as the hosting itself.

I buy domains a lot from them and they are good value. BUT when they dont give the cash back its very difficult to get it. I raise a claim and then the next time I purchase anothe domain Top Cash Back then say the claim has been sorted. This leaves me chasing my tail. TCB Can you please allocate your missing claims correctly and check that new cashbacks from a merchant do not relate to newer claims. Normally it goes through OK so I will give them two stars.

Totally incompetent.. Cashback didn't track. Then a few days later they sent me an email saying they'd cancelled my order, because of a "system problem", and asked for my payment details so they could send me a refund. I paid by Paypal so they could have automatically refunded me, but it seems that accepting orders is too complicated for them, and providing automatic refunds is too difficult.

Cashback Denied saying atributed to some one else? cant say who is at fault here the merchant or the TCB , probably the latter as more than two bigger cashback have been deined
