**From 1th July to 30th September 2025, the price cap will be £1,720. Their cheapest fixed tariff Simply Fixed Direct Jun26v11 is £1,602 a year – £118 cheaper than the new Ofgem cap when you pay by Direct Debit. Figures are based on Ofgem ‘typical’ consumption. 'Typical' yearly consumption is 2,700kWh electricity and 11,500kWh gas based on a national average of regional prices for a dual fuel customer with a standard electricity meter who pays by Direct Debit. 'Typical' consumption assumes the price cap does not change over a full year. Please remember – it’s the standing charge and cost per unit of energy that’s a set rate – not your bill which will vary depending on how much energy you use. The energy regulator Ofgem reviews and sets the maximum prices we can charge for gas and electricity on our variable tariffs. This is the energy price cap . The cap is reviewed every three months in January, April, July and October. Standard (Variable) prices are based on the energy price cap. Fixed tariff prices remain the same for the duration of the tariff and are not covered by the energy price cap.
