Repairs

If your boiler has broken down, you can arrange to have it repaired by one of HomeServe's approved Gas Safe registered engineers.

There are no hidden costs as the price will include call-out charges, labour, parts and VAT, while all repairs carried out inside the boiler will come with a 12-month guarantee. They can fix leaks, replace the heat exchanger, motorised valves or zone valve, and sort out the temperature or timing controls.

If you have a problem with your plumbing, drainage or electrics, meanwhile, you can organise for an approved HomeServe tradesman to fix it. Most jobs, excluding drains, will come with a 12-month guarantee. They can deal with blocked toilets, faulty radiators, wiring faults and more. If they arrive and find out the job requires more work than was agreed when you booked it, they may have to charge you more.

Smart Devices

LeakBot can spot leaks anywhere in your home's fresh water plumbing system and will quickly alert you to any potential problems.

It can help prevent you from having to make potential insurance claims by keeping an eye on your system 24/7 and detecting small, hidden leaks before they have the chance to develop into a much bigger problem. When a problem is detected, LeakBot will send an alert to your phone.

All you need to do is go online, create an account and clip the LeakBot to your pipe. You can get help and use your cover via your smartphone by downloading the free HomeServe app for your iOS or Android device.

You will be able to use it to view your policy details, make a claim and call them directly in just a few clicks. You will also find hints and tips from engineers, which will help ensure that your house continues to run smoothly.

Customers who are homeowners or who have one or more active HomeServe policies can use the app, while you can make a claim using it if you have a plumbing, drainage, water supply pipe, gas or electricity policy, a homeowner policy, one which covers a house or a policy which has no excess amount payable when making a claim. When you have downloaded the app from Google Play or the App Store, you will need your policy number in order to get started.


Cashback terms and exclusions

What will stop me getting cashback?
  • There is a limit of one cashback payment for each policy purchased, and with a limit of one policy per property.
  • HomeServe reserves the right to refuse to redeem the Offer in its sole discretion if it has reasonable grounds to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, any misrepresentation, abuse of the Offer or any illegal or criminal activity including fraud in connection with the Offer.
  • Using a promotional/voucher code not posted and approved by TopCashback.
What else is essential?
  • Purchases must be completed immediately and fully online.
  • Our cashback offer (“the Offer”) is valid for new customers only who are eligible for and purchase any relevant products through the TopCashback website.
  • The Offer is available for the first year of cover only and the Offer is not available for renewing customers who have received cashback in their first year of cover.
  • The cashback will be issued to the policyholder after 6 months of the applicable policy start date.
  • In order to be eligible for cashback, the policy must still be in force 3 months after the policy start date.
  • The Offer is non-exchangeable and non-transferable and is not to be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer.
  • HomeServe reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the Offer at any time without notice, in each case at the sole discretion of HomeServe. Any decision made by HomeServe in connection with the Offer will be final.
  • Cashback is availiable for new customers only.
  • This merchant calculates cashback excluding VAT, delivery and any other charges.
What to do when
  • For any queries regarding the Offer or if you have not received your cashback after 6 months please contact TopCashback
  • A "Missing Cashback" query must be submitted within 100 days of the transaction, if the transaction does not track automatically.
