No cashback
Confused didn't pay any cashback, even after several months. I lodged a claim with Topcashback against Confused but it took 15 months before I finally received any cashback. I will avoid using Confused.com in the future but credit to Topcashback for successfully getting my cashback, even if it was more than a year after I bought the insurance.

Where's my cashback?
It happened once, and I didn't think much of it, but the last two times I've used Confused.com, my cashback has been declined. I've got one car insurance purchase from 4 months ago marked as "pending uplift", I guess we'll see if that one comes through. Annoyingly, you can't raise a claim with Top Cashback as it's after 180 days! Anyhoo, regardless of whether the cashback comes through or not, there'll be no more Confused.com for me.

I always used confused for all insurance but not anymore!
Some track and some dont but none of the ones done in the last 12 months have paid and honoured the cashback! Even after I raise a claim with customer services, I have to wait for 12 months and then still no cashback. I am not sure what is going on with Confused.com but best to use another comparison site!

"Non-Commissionable"????
Avoid this merchant. Waited approx 12 months only for cashback to be declined for home insurance on the grounds that it is "Non-Commissionable"?????

SCAM
How can they advertise you get cash-back, I followed the eligibility criteria, made me wait 10 months after purchase, only to deny the cash-back claim because it’s “non commissionable”. The only reason I bought their home insurance, is because when the cash-back is paid out , they were very competitive! And there is nothing to be done to prove them otherwise. Definitely won’t buy from them in the future!

Confused declined transaction after 6 months
Purchase had been tracked and showing a spending for over 6 months and then it was declined. Since this transaction happened more than 6 months ago, I can no longer raise a dispute claim with Topcashback either. Please Avoid! Not trustable!

Frequently does not pay out
Would give it zero stars if I could. I’ve had little trouble with other TopCashback suppliers but frequent failures with confused.com declining transactions. Makes you lose faith in TCB. Giving TCB a bad name.

Another cashback avoider
Don't be tempted by the juicy cashback on offer, this retailer will wait over 100 days to decline your cashback, at which point, you won't be able to lodge a claim because TCB won't show it as available for querying beyond 100 days. Probably best sticking to TCB comparisons from now on.

Declined cash back
Took home insurance in October and I’ve waited and waited for cashback. The £36 of cashback has just been declined! And the reason? ‘Took a reward’ which I think means the £20 gift voucher and monthly free hot drink at Greggs that was offered. This is not explicitly stated in the T&Cs. Very disappointed

I took out a home insurance policy in January 2025. I used the comparison site confused.com to gain a quote via topcashback i logged into my Topcashback account and searched for house insurance, confused.com was offering £38 cashback, which is a great return. Confused.com was easy to use and follow. The questions to complete on their website were set out in a user friendly way, i selected the best insurance deal for me and my family and purchased an annual policy for 12 months. The transaction was recoded on Topcashback and now i'm waiting for the money to land in my account - thanks Topcashback!

Would give no stars
Took 5 months to update my cashback for a home insurance policy I took out on July 3rd DECLINED!!!, I cannot say I am surprised, when the cashback merchant was confused. Com/uswitch. I will blacklist both company's from any future purchase.

Pending uplift
I purchased home insurance through confused.com in early June and it is still showing as pending uplift. I don't understand how it can take over 5 months to check my purchase!

Dodgy
Made two purchases for home insurance via TCB for confused.com. Had to chase the first, was over 4 months to pay out. Now had to chase again from a purchase for my mums house in July. It's now the end of October, it's marked as pending uplift and Ince again had to chase. It's like they want people to forget they are owed cashback. Awaiting a response from TCB. Shouldn't have to chase them up and the prolonged wait time makes me think I'll not bother again with confused.

Rejected - we can't prove it, can we
I often use insurance comparison sites via tcb and sometimes pay more than the cost to buy direct because, ultimately, it would end up being cheaper after receipt of cashback. So when it gets rejected, I end up having paid more than i could have if I'd gone direct. I'm cnsidering avoiding the comparison sites on here now as it's just not worth the risk. Tcb need to ditch the ones that have majority 1 star reviews.

Dishonesty personified.
Brought a valid policy which was tracked by the topcashback charlatans and was refused by confused Ltd. Submitted detailed hard evidence back and was rejected again with a unambiguous statement and no hard evidence Submitted to justify their appalling decision. Obviously can't be trusted along with topcashback Ltd who take the decisions at face value and is acceptable to them to let their client base be penalised.
